Have you seen or sensed a figure peeping at you from ajar doors and wall corners and windows? What is this phenomenon/entity?

>>43141930Yes! One of my earliest childhood memories is seeing one of those. One night I was playing on the living room floor and for some reason lifted my head and looked at the open door to the hallway. Peeping from the corridor door to the left of the hallway there was a silhouette. I feel like it was watching me and then hid back into the corridor once I saw it. I say "feel" because there were no eyes I could see or any detail or features at all. Just a silhouette, completely black despite there being enough light from the living room to illuminate it if had been a normal human, no 3 dimensionality to it, I could see the head, arms and torso, but nothing indicated the existence of hair, beard, clothes. The shape was just plain. The way it moved was also off, like it didn't have weight. My entire family was in the living room, so it couldn't have been any of them.
>>43141930yes it happens, but it's not necessarily an entity. You know that when you stand near the edge at a great height part of your brain pushes you slightly? Your brain anticipates threats so it can react in time. staring at dark corners or ajar doors would scare anyone so our mind makes up faces, people or just "some weird feeling" there.
