Why do the majority of people who have NDEs claim they see Christ, even atheists and other religions etc
it's the dominant religion in western society and has massive influence on the zeitgeist. Even people who aren't christian know about christianity, and so it's common for them to hallucinate christian themes even if they're not christian. People in the east tend to see whatever religion is dominant there, Indians for instance see the hindu gods primarily. The fact that near death experiences seem to be affected by the culture and society they exist within proves that they're most likely hallucinations, since if there really was some objective, singular afterlife that everyone experiences, then you would expect everyone to experience the same thing, and yet people are clearly influenced by their culture. You wouldn't see that influence otherwise.

I had a phase where i would research nde's for the most part i think they are lying or hallucinated. One time i watched a video about one where he meets jesus and jesus is all "hell isnt real, its a state of mind dude". then you turn around and there are countless videos about nde's where the person went to hell.
>>43141556? They just see a big ball of light/love, traditionally. Often they don't even identify it as God, but more of a St Peter style gatemanBear in mind in recent decades the NDE space has been completely compromised by shameless Mormon grifters
>>43141616Yea as someone which believes in a "afterlife" NEDs are not reliable evidence whatsoever.
>>43141556I got obsessed with NDE videos a couple years ago and watched hundreds of them and this isn't true at all
NDE testimonies are spiritist propaganda
>>43141574One could argue the presentation of an entity is derived from the viewer. While we cannot fully comprehend their exact shapes and reality, our minds will project an approximation which leads to differing accounts of who or what someone saw. Not to say I believe all NDEs, most of them are either hallucinations or fabricated.
>>43141556>majority of peoplePlease look outside of Christian examples.
the majority of people who have NDE's claim they saw a jewish rabbi named yeshua bar-yosef? i dont think so bro. they see *something* and then extrapolate that to mean:>dat must be rabbi yeshua-bar yosefas to why this happens, its a combination of their being npcs and preexisting operant conditioning.that very thing is preloaded right into john of patmos' schizophrenic ordeal in the cave in the book of revelation, and his extrapolating that to being rabbi yeshua. the primary vector from which this arises is indicated in the original incident: paul on his way to damascus seeing [literally nothing] and extrapolating that to mean>dat must be rabbi yeshua bar-yosefso just in the bible itself you have two textbook cases of the appropriate operant conditioning occurring, and from this, are the many other additional vectors littered throughout popular cultural from which they are ultimately derived.essentially theyre npc instructions>if NDE = unexplainable phenomenon >interpret as [jewish rabbi yeshua bar yosef]

>>43141616Kamaloka is thus not Divided off as a distinctlocality, but is separated off from the rest of the astralplane by the conditions of consciousness of the entitieswho belong to it, these entities being human beings, who have shaken off the dense and etheric bodies, butwho have not yet disentangled themselves from Kama,i.e., the passional and emotional nature. This stateis also called Pretaloka, a preta being a human beingwho has lost his physical body, but is still encumberedwith the vesture of his animal nature. The Kamalokic condition is found on each subdivisionof the astral plane. Many who die are at first in a condition of considerableuneasiness, and others of positive terror. Whenthey encounter the thought-forms which they and theirkind have for centuries been making-thoughts of apersonal devil, an angry and cruel deity, and eternalpunishment-they are often reduced to a pitiablestate of fear, and may spend long periods of acutemental suffering before they can free themselves fromthe fatal influence of such foolish and utterly falseconceptions. It ought, however, in fairness to be mentioned thatit is only among what are called Protestant communitiesthat this terrible evil assumes its most aggravatedform. The great Roman Catholic Church, with itsdoctrine of purgatory, approaches much more nearly toa true conception of the astral plane, and its devoutmembers, at any rate, realise that the state in whichthey find themselves shortly after death is merely atemporary one, and that it is their business to endeavourto raise themselves out of it as soon as may beby intense spiritual aspiration, while they accept anysuffering which may come to them as necessary for thewearing away of the imperfections in their character, before they can pass to higher and brighter spheres...
>>43145512...Thus we see that although men should have beentaught by their religion what to expect, and how tolive on the astral plane, in most cases this has not beendone. Consequently a good deal of explanation isneeded regarding the new world in which they findthemselves. But, after death, exactly as before it,there are few who attain to an intelligent appreciationof the fact of evolution and who, by understandingsomething of their position, know how to make thebest of it. To-day, large numbers of people, both"living" and" dead," are engaged in looking after andhelping those who have died in ignorance of the realnature of the after-death life (vide Chapter XXVIIIon Invisible Helpers). Unfortunately, however, onthe astral plane, as on the physical, the ignorant arerarely ready to profit by the advice or example of thewise. The Astral Body and Other Astral Phenomena pp. 116-117Arthur E. >>43141556Because it's all part of our higher-order consciousness reconciling with its own existence. A lot of people's minds can't handle the reality they have the same powers as an AI in their head to stitch images and sounds and senses together, even creating new sounds people have never said to them, etc. They downplay the power of the mind and assume it's some outside force. Even if it is, appreciating the receiver by studying and growing it is just as important.
>>43144444damn! those digits! what even comes after quads?
>>43141574Except many people experiencing NDEs claim to encounter the same things (life review, spirit guides, movement through a tunnel/void). A lot of NDEs seem hit the same beats but are delivered in a fashion uniquely tailored to the individual.
