[NOTE] The SCP website is broken or something. I'm trying to make an account to add this one, but I'm not getting the confirmation Email. Can someone add it, please?Item #: SCP-6184Object Class: SafeDescription: SCP-6184 is a burned 1938 Volkswagen Beetle with apparently no top speed. Left behind in the streets of Mexico, the tires are melted, the seats are practically vanished, and the crystals are gone, but the vehicle still works; in fact, all the inner components are intact in an anomalous state; age and fire have caused zero damage to them.Story: The SCP Foundation got a hint about a possible anomalous prop: a car being sold on Facebook Marketplace. The assigned men conducted extensive research, finding out that the car was well known in the Mexican city where it was found. The vehicle participated in racing for several decades, even nicknamed "La Maquina Imparable" ("The Unstoppable Machine").According to the original selling post, the seller claimed that the original owner was his great-grandfather; he (the seller's relative) bought it back in the summer of 1948 at a quarter of the price since it was a defective unit being sold directly from the factory by a shady employee with no authorization, so the sale was, in fact, illegal. This story was not confirmed, and in fact, contradicts our men's investigations. Our theory is that this seller actually took off the car from the street and placed it for selling on Internet. The SCP Foundation, using a middleman, bought the car and transported it to a testing facility. After a full restoration (excluding engine parts and wiring), the Foundation tested it using a Class D as a pilot. The vehicle seemed to work perfectly at the estimated 60km/h; the 100km/h where a surprise, but the 200km/h confirmed the anomalous nature of the vehicle. Unfortunately, we weren't able to conduct more tests since the Class D started to faint because of the pressure after reaching the 400km/h.
