why do you think threads on here that haven't been bumped in a week deserve to live? usually there is a good reason they haven't been bumped in that time - i.e. their request was fulfilled.

    https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Pisschillin
Genuine question, have you never heard of urban dictionary anon?
Anyways here's the definition: Pisschilling, also known as the art of perma relaxing. Pisschilling consists of relaxing to the point where your body burns zero calories and letting the piss flow through your body, hence the name pisschilling.
''Man im tired of playing in challenger the que times are like 20minutes''

''Just go to L9smurfs.gg and start pisschilling with a fresh''

And here is another one that's more recent and makes more sense to me: The feeling of ultimate relaxation akin to the sensation one experiences when taking a long piss.
Damn, Mike looks like he is so comfortable on the couch. “Yeah man he is Piss Chillin”

Doesn't make sense to have a general requests general in the request board that is already very slow; but I think a Stupid Questions Thread might be a good idea, I sometimes have questions that I can't easily find an answer on search engines since they get worse by the day, but feel too trivial to make a whole thread about. Of course, the odds of having it answered would be even smaller inside a stupid question thread, but it might be worth a try just to see how it goes.

Doesn't the latest version of Firefox come with a free basic VPN for items viewed inside the browser? It's limited to 50GB per month, but at least it is free. The free one for Android came out in May 2026. The PC-based free version came out this September 2026. Look for the "VPN" on the icon bar at the top of your Firefox PC browser.

Where can I go to find where and when the first recorded use of the term "hippies" occurred?
    >>
    >>1575339
    >Where can I go to find where and when the first recorded use of the term "hippies" occurred?

If you are referring to the ETYMOLOGY of words to determine when such a word was first detected as being used, then the Oxford Dictionary is the place to go. It tracks word etymology.

Well, that term was definitely not from the 1960's counterculture movement that promoted that style of living while benefitting from public infrastructure.

In the late 1940's, the term "hippie" referred to ardent (and self-destructive) drug users. That type of culture existed prior to the late 1940's, but it was then that the term "hippie" was used.
    >>
    >>1575347
I'm looking for the first time it was used about the 1960s counterculture movement. Basically, the earliest 1960s hippies who were explicitly identified as such. The problem is that if you look up something like "who were the first hippies" you get stuff about superficially similar things like communes in the 1800s or something.

Does anyone have statistics on what percentage of child sexual abuse cases perpetuated by clergy members of the catholic church are against little boys specifically?
    >>
    >>1575354
    >>1575354
    >I'm looking for the first time it was used about the 1960s counterculture movement

Ardent drug use WAS the major intrinsic part of that counterculture movement. If you are seeking a finer separation of issues, then "counterculture" is not as accurate as "lifestyle" is. After the federal government made social welfare easy to get in the 1960's, the hippie counterculture lifestyle took off hugely as the drugs made many people difficult to employ or untrustworthy in terms of work quality or reliability or security. Of course, all those employment problems became part of that counterculture backlash and complaints against The Establishment.

Thus, the date of the start of easy free social welfare could arguably be used in a high school level paper about the first time "hippie" was genuinely APPLICABLE (not just simply used) towards the 1960's counterculture movement.
    >>
    >>1575380
Interesting point. Is there a book with this information?
I'm just interested in finding when the word "hippie" was first specifically used to describe what we now know as the "hippie counterculture/lifestyle" rather than when or if it was genuinely applicable to that movement.
    >>

Based on comprehensive institutional studies and reports, the vast majority of victims documented in Catholic clergy abuse cases have been male.

The John Jay Report (United States): Commissioned by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops to analyze cases from 1950 to 2002, the report found that 81% of the recorded victims were male, compared to 19% female. The data also showed that over 40% of all victims were boys between the ages of 11 and 14.

European Studies: Comprehensive independent investigations in other regions have yielded similar or even higher proportions. For example, a major study on the German Catholic Church found that 62.8% of the identified victims were male. In France, independent commission findings estimated that approximately 80% of the victims of systemic clergy abuse were boys.

    >I want to find the fourth episode of Die Toten von Salzburg, called Mordwasser.
    >I was able to find the first three episodes, but this one seems impossible to find

Plex: The episode is indexed on Plex via international content providers. Depending on your region or if you use a VPN set to a supported country, it occasionally surfaces in their free-with-ads streaming catalog.

Physical Media (DVD): If you are collecting the series or want a reliable way to watch it without fighting regional streaming blackouts, Mordwasser has been released on DVD in Germany/Austria, often bundled either individually or as part of early-season box sets.

Secondary / Archive Sites: Because official streaming rights for this specific 2019 episode are frequently expired on mainstream platforms, niche European crime-drama streaming communities or digital archival forums are sometimes the only places where fans manage to locate digital rips.

    >How do you filter phrases in 4ChanXT?
    >How can you filter a word so that you don't block out larger words that include the word? Like, I want to ignore posts with "lock" but not posts with "block."

Open the 4chan XT settings menu (usually via the gear icon or configuration panel added by the extension).

    Navigate to the Filter section.

Add your filter terms line by line. By default, wrapping text in forward slashes creates a regex filter (e.g., /yourphrase/i for case-insensitive matching).

Delete 4chanXT. It's a botnet anyway. You can easily do this with the native extension.

    >The problem is that if you look up something like "who were the first hippies" you get stuff about superficially similar things like communes in the 1800s or something.
But that was very true. An intrinsic part of that "hippie" group of the 1960's was the combination of communism and recreational drugs. This is why not every drug abuser can be called a hippie because they need the complete definition to be a hippie.

To filter the exact phrase "play her game", use this regex:
    /\b(play her game)\b/
If you want it to filter regardless of capitalization, add a lowercase "i" at the end.
It works for single words too, like so:
    /\b(lock)\b/i

It was "Manga Gallery" by, I think, "KILLSU2". As noted in the internal credits, most of the artwork featured there is by Masamune Shirow, but there are a handful that are not

Tried several reverse image searches and even a clanker and it can't find anything either. Looks like fanart of Iczer One without her undershirt and pants. I imagine it originates from the original artist's own hosted website. Anyway to contact the map maker? Might be able to snag a Wayback Machine link if the host site isn't operating anymore.

I think it originated from the now defunct Planet Descent, so I think as far as *contacting* the artist, we're SOL

I wish I could remember which board it was (probably /b/), but someone started a thread with this image about it being their birthday, and so I made successive edits adding more & more goofy shit to this image with every one. At first it was a birthday cake, then a birthday hat, but eventually got to a guy sitting on the pile of bricks in the background like he's taking a shit, then the "I recognize that gay blowjob" hobos off in the woods, et cetera.

does anyone remember a video, kinda tumblresque similar to this video?

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksBE53CIT8E

its two girls on a sidewalk talking about how hot a guy is. one of them says "he's so hot i want to replace all my blood with his cum" she had other saying that kept escalating, but the quote was pretty much the precipice of the vulgarity.

    >nothing graphic, just the two girls talking
    >pg-13 if i had to rate it

Probably a year or two ago.
Timeframes of my late-night shitposting binges are difficult to remember.
I swear it was either on /b/ or here. Probably the former since it did include the homeless gay blowjob.

Where do I start if I want to code? Ideally, I want to start with general knowledge that can be applied generally, but my goal is code games (maybe make my own engine, I think) that can be played on browser/mac/pc.

While I hate AI and all the folks that enforce it, there's not much reasoning on learning to program for someone without basic grasp in this day and age. I'm trying it myself, because (aside from disliking AI) I don't want to depend on anyone/anything and actually want know how to expand/fix stuff done.
Anyways, I suppose that the best starting point is understanding logic/algorithms and therefore pseudocode. Then you may jump into Python? C and derivates should be your goal since you want to make games (like myself; I'm doing C++).
    Best of luck, anon

try using python first, while some might say it's "too basic", it's actualy a good place to start if you want to learn how videogames work. it's hard to make 3d in python, but for basic 2d games, use libraries like pygame or pyxel. if you want something even more user friendly, use game maker. it's free and there are a lot of already installed useful packages. don't try making "the game™" at first, just learn and try having fun. then you will switch to more powerful things like godot or java.
