What demos are you playing today, bros?
>>2507571Nigger 2 deluxe
The only two that matter.
>>2507756nice
i wish you could sort this stupid event by production budget. just give me the 10 demos that are actually being produced by real studios so that i don't have to sort through crap. And using splash art that looks nothing like your game should be should get you thrown in haram jail.
pretty fun puzzle god game
no Star Trek outposts demo? ugh
So much fucking slop.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4151050/Divided_Empire_SENGOKU/This looks interesting.
>>2507760stronghold is fun but its it suffers from the usual UE nonsense, horrifically smeared visuals and terrible optimisation for what it is
>>2508029No way this coming this year
https://store.steampowered.com/app/5028050/Traffic_Architect/?curator_clanid=39049601Cities Skylines without all of the fluff.
>>2507809looks pretty cool. also this is what I was expecting Heart of the Machine to be (except dystopian sci-fi), not the weird genre mishmash between bad tactical combat and overwritten CYOA RPG it ended up being
Steel Company seems interesting, its supposedly very similiar to the Steel Panthers games, my only hope is that it has a better AI than those games, even in the newer versions of those titles the AI on attack just moves all units at full speed towards an objective with no strategy whatsoever.
>generic indie pixelshit carbon copy of previous 1000 similar games, caricatured up to the point few descriptive tags can accurately and exhaustively describe the experience
>>2509487i played this one too
https://store.steampowered.com/app/5314340/STARHOME_Demo/Okay idea, but just not very fun.
>>2509546yeah the actual gameplay is pretty ass, they need to "find the fun" as sid meier would say but I doubt they have the game design skills or instinct
>>2509546I got bored during the tutorial. If it's doing something more advanced than homeworld 15 years later it needs to say so up front.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4805350/Imperium_of_the_Stars/Did no one else play this shit? You would think "Great Crusade Simulator" would be popular here, given there's so many Warhammerfags on 4chanThe idea is interesting, even if the game feels a little janky. The UI could use some work (specially the atrocious ship builder UI). Like every such game, the automation doesn't build as well as a micromanaging player, but this must be the only game where that's on theme, and you'll quickly find yourself with so many planets that it doesn't matter. My only true complaint is how expensive research is, but I don't know how long a normal session is, so who knows how much that's a problem
Just spent some time with the demo for this.https://store.steampowered.com/app/3204330/County_of_Fortune/It's pretty fun. Doesn't seem super deep from what I've seen so far, but I like that it's operating on a level you don't see very often in city builders, i.e. more focused on the big picture rather than min-maxing building placement and supply chain management.
