Honestly impressive that they didn't even do a once-over for the unit cards.

The artist went to Mt Fuji to learn the honobru tradition of card art, don't you know?

That would've been too expensive for the Polish and Ukrainian devs

I think land battles would be more boring than warhammers but if you are talking about a ghotic armada style RTS with star wars ships now that would be intresting. They have a shitload of ship models in the lore.
I think Disney is a bit too hungry and asks too much of companies to work with their IP. Thats why we will never see a properly made open world RPG in that setting (one with ships, land combat and actual freedom).

*They could even do something in between by combining ship battles on a 2D plane in space (in real time) plus a third person land shooter in the style of Diablo/The Ascent (or just a good old turn based combat system like Zero company). Remove the shackles, give the player some freedom (work for the Alliance/Empire/be a pirate/Trade, whatever the fuck you want) and you have a winning recipe. Much easier to do than a first person game.

Funny how the Lying Republic acted like the good guys, and when they won, they became a full blown oppressive empire with a vampire looking emperor like a cherry on top.

it'd be kino on land but CA would never be able to do space so you're stuck with boring rts

    >Gothic armada

We got Empire at war with it space battles, but I can see that working

Maybe instead of Total War, a Star Wars Company of Heroes-inspired game could work better?

Yes but the CIS was mostly disgusting aliens.

Only if it's set in Old Republic era, I don't care for George's shit.
