Cities Skylines, it was made by finns that dont know english hates double plurals.

In Populous you are kinda like Moses

Wrong Moses. Both jews, but wrong Moses.

The official title has a colon between the two words.
Though that doesn't make it any less of an ESL title.

just googled this character, are you telling me that even american cities being unwalkable hellholes is, once again, the fault of... the kind of people who'd have the last name moses?
    >>
    >>2491526
For large cities problem is not walkability, but lack of good public transport, usually.
    >>
    >>2491997
    >lack of good public transport
Perhaps there’s some sort of violent archaic hominid infesting public transport that encourages humans to avoid it out of self-preservation?

Depends - are you more interested in the politics side of the Moses experience, or in the infrastructure projects?

He did run NY like a SimCity game, but maybe a political sim would be closer. The interesting part was how he was able to get what he wanted from different stakeholders - financing, permissions, cheap labour, and power.

Can't wait for this. Love seeing a passion project, even if it ends up being underbaked.

Do any polsims exist that are actual sims and not exclusively "right policy bad, left policy good"?

    Moses could not drive.
The only time he got to experience the road system he built for New York was when he was driven in his government-issued car and police were clearing the roads ahead of him.

It's a great book, in the autistic, super-detailed research way.
Caro does criticize him, and there's a lot of the "he built for cars, not people" stuff, but he also gives him a lot of credit. It's not a hitpiece, nor a full glazing of the man, hence why the book is so celebrated.
