i'm thinking of picking up ff5 pixel remasteredhow difficult is it? i'm pretty good at final fantasy and was wondering if i should set the boost mechanic to 0.5 immediately to have a good time or if the game is actually hard and i should just play it on default difficulty for my first runyeah i could play a rom blahablahblah but i think the reworked graphics and music are good in ff1/ff4/ff6 pixel remastered
>>4140864>i'm thinking of picking up ff5 pixel remasteredThe correct way to play FF5 is to emulate the 90s fan-translated SNES ROM.
>>4140872i already addressed that
>>4140874>i already addressed thatCool, in that case, it sounds like you didn't need to post a thread about it to ask permission, and you're set on playing a shitty demaster. Enjoy.
>>4140881hey, thanks for answering the question i asked about how difficult the game is compared to other ff games
>>4140884Harder than most of them. Not a hard game, but there's a fair amount of bosses that you can't just attack mindlessly.
>>4140864PR FFV was my first time playing FFV and I did 0.5x xp, gil, and apb, AND I downloaded a mod for much much harder difficulty the pixel remaster on my first playthrough of ff5 ever and I was auto-battling stuff like bahamet. >doubles the HP of all enemies (except Magic Pot), increases major enemy stats by 20% or 10% where appropriateit's not very hard. I had a harder time with translated FFIV. I would look to a romhack for actual difficulty.
>>4140864Get a proper editor for 8- bit indexed palette graphics. Grafx2 is still the best thing you can get. Learn how to do manually dithering. Study sprite sheets from 16- bit consoles and PSX games. Learn how to deal with upscaled pixel graphics in high resolution. A simple shader to get proper translucent scanlines, not an overengineered shit like some the pseudo- CRT ones around.
>>4140864>remasteredwtf you doin?
