Which youtuber tricked you into RGB modding?Retro games were designed and developed for RF/Composite.
>>12902913i use S video and that's enough for me
>>12902913Big Dick Mike
None because I'm not retarded.>>12902978Yeah I jump between svid and composite.
>>12902913>Retro games were designed and developed for RF/Composite.So you've never played a PC or arcade game then.
>>12902913I just tested all the inputs on various tvs I've owned and just settled on composite being best for me until gen 6 consoles although I did fall for the pvmeme and got a trini with rgb and I fuckin hated the look of it too. Traded it for a good tv. I'll watch shit over s-video or component usually, although sometimes animated stuff or vhs tapes over composite/rf is nostalgic
>>12902913Top is the only correct choice
>>12903028I have. this is what dogshit pc retro games look like.
>>12902913You could argue composite. But RF just looks bad, nobody should use RF. Also, this whole thing about retro consoles being intended to look like garbage is an Americanism. You're tv's are third world tier in terms of quality.
>>12904047>You're tv's are third world tier in terms of qualityI am televion's are third world tier in terms of quality?
>>12902913>RF 1st/2nd gen I can understand, but using RF for 3rd gen and higher is a dumb self-flagellating idea. >composite Yes, if only because a not-insignificant number of games on some platforms require the innate blending to display correct effects. Saturn is the most noticeable, but there are other examples where the visual effects don't work properly without composite.
>>12902913>RGB modding? You mean, buying a new cable for your console? Or are we talking about modding TVs to have RGB inputs?
>>12904047>RF just looks bad, nobody should use RF>You're tv's are third world tier in terms of quality. You must be at least 18 years old to use this site, and capable of writing correct English. You weren't there if you did not play 8-bit consoles on RF back in the '80s.
>>12903814Biomenace is awesome. This obscure relatively unheard of game also game out in 1993, I'm not surprised you missed it.
>>12902913RF: her hair looks nicerComposite: perfect transparency on her cloakComponent: better colors
>>12902913I am still looking for people to help RGB mod my TV. I forgot the video but they were saying something about muxing or some jungle chip. It was some fighting game tournament video in New York, I think. The primary issue is that I started with Japanese RGB21 back in the early 90s instead of the now popular Euro SCART that everyone else prefers now. A lot of the games I played in the arcade were RGB instead of composite and most of the computer games I played were hooked up to a VGA CRT monitor. In fact, the VGA CRT monitor was what I used to play a lot of my games on with the XRGB-2.
>>12902913It's just Genesis games look like shit!
>>12902913Robocop really made the nips love Chicago, huh?
>>12902913Thankfully nobody
>>12902913I don't mod, but I do go for S-Video or Component when possible. Also, it looks like the sharpness is tuned way too high in your pic. I usually turn it all the way down to make the image look less harsh and "sizzly".
>>12902913Arcade games tricked me into RGB modding, because arcade machines showcased the latest and best gaming tech for decades. They also used RGB as a standard from the the late 70's, until the late 90's. Troglodyte.
>>12904795>You weren't there if you did not play 8-bit consoles on RF back in the '80s.This.
>>12906045ok good for you but most people try to use it for console games, which is wrong
>>12906045>They also used RGB as a standard from the the late 70's, until the late 90's.Not even close to correct wtf?
>>12906045Arcades? RGB? Lmao. The entire point of arcade hardware was composite video. Nobody was running three separate color signals through those cabinets. That's audiophile-tier revisionism.>>12906157RGB in arcades is a myth invented by people who spent too much money on PVMs.
>>12904795>You must be at least 18 years old to use this sitePeople born in 2008 are 18
>>12906157>>12906172The JAMMA connector has RGBs video.
>>12902913a man's asshole was designed and developed to eject cylindrical objects, yet that doesn't stop you from inserting them.
