    >Somewhat realistic excavator controls
    >Besides regular construction site levels, you also have to do weird shit with your excavator like fishing for turtles, navigating a sci-fi obstacle course or serving soup
    >An overly enthusiastic narrator with a thick japanese accent comments everything you do
    >A super catchy funk soundtrack you wouldn't expect in a game like this
    >Despite all that randomness, the difficulty is quite challenging but not unfair
Power shovel is one of my favorite hidden gems, it's criminal that it isn't more well known. Go play it now.

Dual Hearts on the ps2. Hop into peoples dreams w a similar system to OoT w lock on iirc. Very fun and whimsical game for the most part. Reminds me of a child’s book come to life w a Japanese twist. Also you’re helper looks like a mini creature from the never ending story

Thanks, I forgot that Elevator Action was a thing.

dunno if exactly obscure because it's a licensed game.
but avatar the last airbender on gba was enjoyable to play.
the second game, the burning earth, was only ok and it sucked that it used passwords instead of saves.

Large backlogs are no longer fashionable, petite, athletic backlogs are back in vogue.

Its overrated. Play Taito's The Ninja Kids or Darius Gaiden instead

The DS game? I tried that recently and would not recommend it. It's just okay.

It's not really obscure but you can play this if you want.

If you like JRPGs with a gimmicky battle system and relatively short, Helen's Mysterious Castle was a game I bought for something like a dollar back in 2016 and got a very good 10ish hours out of.

Anything I recommend you'd most likely call trash, so I won't even bother. Gain some taste and find unique 6/10 games yourself.

No, I'll give anything a try. Why do you think I'll call it trash
    >>
    Ninja Five-O

    Super underrated gba title

I'd never heard of this until a couple months ago and now suddenly I see it mentioned everywhere what the fuck. It is good though.
