I don't know if more than two people care about this game, but like every game it has a few passionate supporters of a remake.I think a remake of Parasite Eve would be weird, but maybe I'm just stupid. What do we all think?
You're right, I don't care about this. It's not gonna happen.
>>12899425>I think a remake of Parasite Eve would be Don't care, not retro. Kill yourself faggot
>>12899425Would be gay, would be shit, would be over the shoulder, would be realismslop.
>>12899425Every time I go to an art museum I’m like>damn they should remake this painting
>>12899425if you want a remake of a game, you never liked that game to begin with, eat shit and die zoomnigger
>>12899425It feels really particular to the 90s.A remake would be like modern Square-Enix slop like 3rd birthday and barely resemble the original. It would be less gritty and atmospheric, and more stylistic and actiony
>>12899425>RemakeSo they can stretch Parasite Eve into 4 parts and take 10 years while adding bloat to each part and making unnecessary changes to justify the project's existence? No thank you.
>>12899425If any games deserve remakes, it's the ones that had a decent concept but flawed execution, be it due to development troubles, outdated technology, things like that. Instead we're getting remakes of highly acclaimed games that were already good originally, but because they sold well, they're more profitable to sell again with new bells and whistles (or as a vanity project, like with FF7).I'm new to Parasite Eve, I find it both interesting and frustrating. I fucked my first playthrough with overeager weapon tuning and I started it again a couple of hours ago. It's pretty slow, it can be braindead easy at times and unbearably hard at others, the only horror is in deciding what trash to keep in the inventory. The battle areas tend to be cramped with no way to avoid enemies. I find that it has similar problems to Secret of Mana with how many useless weapons the game gives you.So the game has glaring problems, and still it is a pretty beloved classic. The remake would be an opportunity to fix some things and would sell on brand recognition alone. I say go ahead, just don't do the FF7 shit.
>>12899425A remake would either be woke or it would be some goofy reimagining like the FF7 remake. Maybe both. I don't want to see Debra Wilson in Parasite Eve.
