The entire game should have just been gladiator arena fights. The executions and gore were magnificent. The war parts were boring, let alone the faggy stealth parts.
>>12894318Gladiator Begins is nothing but arena fights. It's also pure kino
>>12894327Damn sounds awesome. Big thanks for the rec anon
don't kick the elephants
>>12894318big disappointment yeah, I pushed until the third stealth mission and could not take any more slurping>>12894327is the PS2 one any good?the most engaging gladiator game for me was We who are about to die
>>12894394The PS2 one is called Colosseum, which is deceptive as there's another game called Gladiator on the console that is unrelated.I've never played Colosseum. It seems to be better than the PSP game but I don't know
The parts where you could run around Rome and buy stuff for your little cuck den was comfy, but sneaking through the senator house/garden parts were shit, yeahhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tq_h_KgO9OAAlso some of the salvos are a bitch to unlock; i need to do another playthrough someday
>>12894318Why do you only want to smash buttons?Shadow of rome in the best rome gladiator game because it's far from being just a meat grinder, although the extra modes and score system offers several hours of just button smashing content.Play something else like Spartan total warrior
>>12894318>let alone the faggy stealth parts.complainng about this in splinter cell, Thief and MGS peak era.Shame on you.
>>12894318Without the blonde kid and war flashbacks the game would start to feel too claustrophobic. Being able to explore outside the colosseum walls every once in a while is nice, even if the gameplay isn't the most action packed.
>>12894497>splinter cell, Thief and MGSYou could kill enemies in all those games. Stealth without the option to kill is never fun imo.
>>12894318As you have said OP, i also hated the stealth stages, mostly because you cannot kill the guards(you can only stunt them).BUT what frustrated me the most of this game, is the fact there are not a "create your own arena" mode, in wich you can select the arena style, the numbers of enemies, the hazards in the arena, wich enemies you will fight, wich weapons are avaible, the conditions to win, etc.I would have loved to create my own arenas with my own conditions. Too bad there were not any mode like that in the game.
>>12894898Hell yeah. Imagine all that plus coop with a buddy. Would be fucking amazing.
>>12894318>Capcom just casually dropped some Roman gladiator adventure game out of nowhereI wish this Capcom would come back, I'm tired of RE, Monster Hunter and Street Fighter slop.
>>12894898>inb4 somebody steals your idea and makes a shitty, disappointing AIslop gameMy condolences
>>12895165They released a space dad simulator this year
>>12895306Wow a game made for literal pedophiles, what a great advancement.
>>12894318What's wild is that the games sequel became Dead Rising
>>12897789And frustating too.
>>12894810*breaks a pot on your head*Nothin' personnel. I'll steal your coins now.
>>12894318It is sort of a change of pace to avoid being one-note. Like that King Kong game taking inspiration from Pac-man, flipping the role of being meek to the role of the hunter. It made the game grand in scope like ancient Rome to something a bit more personal with the mystery of "et tu Brute" and what Caesar meant by it. You can feel how the game is sort of the evolutionary step towards Dead Rising.
