I don't think they particularly "hate" Typhlosion (all those stories were written based off actual myths legends and similar humans told each other to explain how the world worked as they observed it as a short-hand for authenticating their world). I do know also-rans on the internet detest the more popular shit though (cf this place with Charizard vs whatever babbyshitmon they love). And coupled with the marked uptick in this kind of shitspam after the L: Z-A starters got revealed, it's clear the kind of people who are behind it. Doubly so when their great big gimmick win button turned out to be yet another humiliation conga line Typhlosion was spared.
