I'm plenty bored atm and just wanted to post the art I did a while ago for the 30th anniversary. The first 151 based on their debut sprites (which includes some derpiness) and using their limited SGB color
This is a color guide to the shadows beneath each Pokemon, signifying their environmental classification. It's kinda like what FRLG had, but they're all based on the Japanese Pokemon Encyclopedia.
No.001 FushigidaneCategory: Seed PokemonHeight: 0.7mWeight: 6.9kgType: Grass/PoisonA strange Pokemon who researchers still have no answer as to whether it is affiliated with animals or plants. This has been an ongoing discussion fought over by them since 1990 with no conclusion to be reached yet. From the moment of its birth, it has a mysterious seed planted onto its back. It is said to grow little by little in tandem with the body. This plant seed, reminiscent of a bulb-like pouch, is filled with plenty of seeds and nutrients. It is thanks to these nutrients that it could stay healthy without eating for days on end.It is a seldom found Pokemon, usually relegated to beginner Trainers. In battle, it is capable of releasing different substances from its seed’s opening from energy-sapping mistletoe seeds to status-inducing powders. A very easy Pokemon to grow.
No.002 FushigisouCategory: Seed PokemonHeight: 1.0mWeight: 13.0kgType: Grass/PoisonWhen a Fushigidane grows, the equally-growing seed on its back develops into a flower bud. Thus, it evolves into Fushigisou. This flower bud grows too by absorbing nutrients from its body. The increased weight soon renders it impossible for it to be able to stand on two legs. It has to stay on all fours just to support it. Once it has grown, an aroma begins to drift from the bud, evidence that its bloom is imminent. And when it does, it is said to become a large flower, triggering its next evolution. After evolving, it also grew leaves as well. It can swing these leaves and launch them at its opponents to cut them up. It can also freely manipulate the well-developed vines that can extend from its back, which may indiscriminately drag around its opponents.
No.003 FushigibanaCategory: Seed PokemonHeight: 2.0mWeight: 100.0kgType: Grass/PoisonThe large flower on it back finally bloomed, evolving Fushigisou into Fushigibana. It has grown to a huge size and weight, though researchers have yet to clarify how it can maintain it.It loves sunlight. As such, it becomes active when moving towards sunny places, as though it were drawn to them. Once it finds a spot, it starts to absorb the nourishing rays of solar energy, which opens up its flower. It stays firmly unmoving as it converts this light into energy and stores it in its body, which is frequent. There is a possible theory that this behavior is it performing photosynthesis. Thus, its flower continues to grow.Drifting from the flower is an enchanting aroma, which can soothe the feelings of those who fight. Sometimes, there is a one-in-a-million chance that when the flower opens up, it scatters pollen and places its opponent in a special state, such as being put to sleep or poisoned.
No.004 HitokageCategory: Lizard PokemonHeight: 0.6mWeight: 8.5kgType: FlameFrom the time of its birth, a flame is lit on the tip of its tail. As it is just born, it is unaccustomed to this flame and may end up burning itself. People who try to hug it due to its cuteness may end up getting burned as well. Smokers would often keep them instead of lighters. It is said that if it gets wet from rain, the flame goes out on its tail and starts going up in smoke. However, if the flame is completely extinguished, its life will come to an end. Its personality prefers hot things such as fire and direct sunlight. If you take it to a quiet place, you can hear the small sound of its tail burning. When it grows, it will evolve into Lizard.Like Fushigidane, this too is an elusive Pokemon often gifted to beginner Trainers. Unless it is kept from evolving, the only Flame-Type technique it can learn is "Sparks". While it has a chance of burning its opponents, this small spray of flames isn’t entirely strong. A somewhat difficult Pokemon to grow.
No.005 LizardCategory: Blaze PokemonHeight: 1.1mWeight: 19.0kgType: FlameThe evolved form of Hitokage. Upon evolution, it seemed to develop a rough personality. This is reflected in its manner of fighting. It will not stop attacking its opponent until they are torn to shreds by its sharp claws. Whenever it gets excited from continually fighting strong opponents, it may start exhaling pale flames. Its tail is versatile, and strong enough to lift up to five adults (about 300kg). It uses it in battle to torment its opponents. By swinging the burning tail, it raises the surrounding temperature to uncomfortable levels. It can also sweep its opponents off their feet before tearing them apart. In battle, it can utilize its fury to continuously attack its opponents. Whenever it gets struck, the voltage of its anger increases, as does its attack power. This attack does not end until the Pokemon collapses or the battle ends.
No.006 LizardonCategory: Blaze PokemonHeight: 1.7mWeight: 90.5kgType: Flame/FlyingAs the evolved form of Lizard, it has grown a powerful set of wings. Said wings make it possible for it to fly up to 1,400m above ground. This number was confirmed when fecal matter belonging to a Lizardon was discovered on the hillside of Mt.Fuji.The high-temperature flames it exhales are so scorching hot that they can burn rocks, melt 10,000 ton icebergs in the blink of an eye, and even cause wildfires. These can also occur when Lizardon fight one another in the mountains. Whenever it unleashes these flames, the one on the tip of its tail flares up with such intensity and beauty. The more reckless ones exhale them in clusters as if they were possessed, trying to burn everything to the ground.Like its previous stages, it can be taught to use Daimonji, a powerful Flame-type blast whose impact leaves behind a large, flaming kanji for dai (Japanese for big). It is named after the end-of-Obon event where mountainside bonfires are lit to create spectacular and large kanji as a send off to the deceased. However, for all the techniques it could be taught, Secret Machine 4 ("Fly in the Air") is one it cannot due to a programming error in the product. A later revision was able to fix this.
No.007 ZenigameCategory: Young Turtle PokemonHeight: 0.5mWeight: 9.0kgType: WaterA Pokemon with charming round eyes that lives at sea and loves swimming in water. After its birth, its back swells up to form a hard shell. It takes a while for it to be completed, however. It can withdraw its limbs into it to protect itself when things get dangerous. But if it just retracts its long neck, it will end up vigorously firing its "Water Gun". It even does this on the water’s surface to catch its prey. An effective technique against Flame, Ground and Rock-types.Another elusive Pokemon given to beginner trainers. While it is categorized as a Waterfront Pokemon, its exact habitat is unknown. Its "Water Gun" isn’t its only powerful weapon, for it can spit out a strong, bubbly foam from its mouth as well. An intermediate-level Pokemon to raise.
No.008 KamailCategory: Turtle PokemonHeight: 1.0mWeight: 22.5kgType: WaterAs a Zenigame grows, it it will develop ears and evolve into a Kamail. These ears move while swimming at high speeds underwater to keep its body balanced. It often hides there as it takes aim at prey. This Pokemon is highly popular as a pet. In the midst of battle, it sports a rather cute profile. When its head is struck (which makes a rather comedic “pokan” sound), it will retract into its shell to avoid anything else. Sometimes it does this whenever it gets in a bad mood. When it does, its tail sticks out just a little. Said tail is covered in bushy hair that collects plenty of air bubbles in its gaps when it dives for a long time. Furthermore, it is also a symbol of longevity. It seems to have a little bit of a twisted personality. Among its techniques, it can learn to bite, a wicked chomp that has a chance to make opponents flinch. Researchers have discovered that this somehow inflicts more damage upon Esper and Ghost-types…
No.009 KamexCategory: Carapace PokemonHeight: 1.6mWeight: 85.5kgType: WaterThe evolved form of Kamail with a belligerent personality at times. It has injection ports in its shell. When it takes aim at its opponents, it can unleash water like a cannonball with a stronger momentum than that of a fire engine hose. Plus they can even pierce concrete. With this rocket-like momentum, this amazing guy can charge into opponents, no matter who they may be.Despite its size and slow movements, this Pokemon is worth it in overwhelming power. With its heavy body, it can lean on and stun its opponents. Whenever it gets in a pinch, it will hide in its armor-like shell, (which gives it its high defensive power as well).Besides being able to do all this, it is also capable of learning effective techniques such as "Freezing Beam" and "Surfing". Quite the reliable Pokemon.
No.010 CaterpyCategory: Caterpillar PokemonHeight: 0.3mWeight: 2.9kgType: BugA Pokemon covered in green skin. Its means of protection are the large eyeball-like patterns on its head (to threaten and drive away enemies), and the intense odor produced by the antenna on top of its head (should it be touched). Its legs are short and is slow, but because they have suckers, it can move up steep inclines without exhaustion whether it is on slopes or walls. When it molts and grows, it covers itself in string and transforms into its pupal state: Trancell. It has the fastest evolution of any Pokemon ever found. Its natural enemy is Poppo, the Small Bird Pokemon that eats up caterpillars. When a Caterpy feels the presence of a Poppo, it hurries to dive into the ground and try to hide itself. Whoever is too slow to escape it becomes its food. Apparently, even within the peaceful world of forests there are strict rules for survival of the fittest. When it doesn’t use its string to evolve, it can use it in battle. This string it spits out can impede its opponents speed. Due to its weak state, it cannot learn anything else besides ramming, nor can it be taught anything.
No.011 TransellCategory: Pupa PokemonHeight: 0.7mWeight: 9.9kgType: BugThe evolved form of Caterpy. This is the state in which Caterpy has grown and entered its pupal stage. It is wrapped in a hard shell, but its contents are soft. Because of this, it cannot withstand strong attacks. Due to it being in the middle of its metamorphosis, it isn’t good at quick movements. It has the ability to stiffen its shell to increase its defensive power and protect itself. When it becomes hard, only the outer shell changes and toughens up. The inside, however, remains soft as is. Caution must be taken, for if it receives a strong shock before or when its shell hardens, its contents will spill out.Transell that evolve in the wild will be unable to attack. Some Trainers have noted that when they raise a Caterpy into a Transell, it might not be able to learn this technique.
No.012 ButterfreeCategory: Butterfly PokemonHeight: 2.2mWeight: 32.0gType: Bug/FlyingWithin a week to ten days after a Caterpy becomes a Transell, it finally evolves into a Butterfree. Its wings are protected by hydrophobic scales, which make it possible to fly even on a rainy day. However, these scales are extremely poisonous. When it minutely and quickly flaps its wings, they scatter into the wind. If you see it flapping in the distance, be careful not to inhale them.Despite its typing, it has the potential to learn a handful of Esper techniques. Chief among them is Willpower, a weak telekinetic force that has a chance to confuse opponents. Butterfree will learn this either immediately or some time after evolving.
No.013 BeedleCategory: Hairy Caterpillar PokemonHeight: 0.3mWeight: 3.2gType: Bug/PoisonA Pokemon that is widely distributed across not only forests, but grasslands as well. They hide within bushes, where it can consume plenty of leaves intently. Ginkgo leaves are one of its favorites. As it grows, it will evolve a Spear through Cocoon.Atop of its head is a small, sharp, and poisonous stinger about 5cm long. Whenever a foreign enemy appears, it will shake it in order to intimidate them. Stepping on it will lead to getting pricked. And if you’re stung by it, you will be afflicted with poison. Next to spitting out string, this is its only means of attack in battle.
No.014 CocoonCategory: Pupa PokemonHeight: 0.6mWeight: 10.0gType: Bug/PoisonIt is said that during its days as a Beedle, it eats plenty of leaves to prepare for its pupal stage. When it enters this temporary state, it cannot move much on its own, making it look dead. However, within its shell is a new adult body being created, which will lead to it evolving into a Spear. In its new state, its strength is not so high, making it unsuitable for battle. But if things get dangerous and is attacked, it will protect itself by stiffening its shell. It may also draw out its stingers and inflict poisoning as well. For some reason, wild Cocoon will not be able to use their stingers, and captive ones will be unable to learn how to harden themselves.
No.015 SpearCategory: Poison Bee PokemonHeight: 1.0mWeight: 29.5kgType: Bug/PoisonA Beedle grows up to become a Cocoon, and as it grows further, it evolves into Spear. It has large, poisonous stingers on both of its hands and rear. It flies around at tremendous speeds to attack its opponents by sting, sting, stinging them. Especially with its rear stinger. It may sometimes appear in groups. In battle, it dances brilliantly as it moves around at high speeds. Among the different stabbing attacks it may learn, it can learn “Double Needle”. It will detach and launch the stingers on its hands to attack and even inflict poison on its opponents.
No.016 PoppoCategory: Small Bird PokemonHeight: 0.3mWeight: 1.8kgType: Normal/FlyingMany Poppo are allocated in forests and grasslands. They tend to hide in thickets and catch small insects to feed on such as Caterpy and Beedle (which it likes to eat). But for some reason, they will ignore Compang.Being a docile and precise Pokemon, it does not like to fighting and will not force itself to do so. Even if it is attacked, it will protect itself by fervently flap its wings on the ground to spread sand without counterattacking. If its opponent is small and weak, it will flutter and blow them away. But if it is found and/or surrounded by enemies, it will blow up some sand and escape into the air as its opponents are left faltering. In battle, throwing sand can blind their opponents and reduce their accuracy. It can also raise up wind to attack as well.
No.017 PigeonCategory: Bird PokemonHeight: 1.1mWeight: 30.0kgType: Normal/FlyingThe evolved form of Poppo. A Pokemon with a strong, territorial consciousness. The territory it has is also wide, and it thoroughly pokes at any nuisance that invades it. It possesses excessive strength and flies far and around its territory for food. And it has the endurance to fly around with no problems even for a long period of time. When it is time, it dives from an altitude of 800m to quickly catch its prey with its well-developed toenails. Then it will nonchalantly carry its prey, like Tamatama (2.5kg), up to 100km away to the nest built in the middle of its territory.Unlike most bird Pokemon, Poppo and its evolutions can learn how to use its wings to attack. Besides blowing up wind or sand, it can slap its opponents with them.
No.018 PigeotCategory: Bird PokemonHeight: 1.5mWeight: 39.5kgType: Normal/FlyingIt goes without saying that this is the evolved form of Pigeon, the final one for Poppo. Its body size reaches up to 1.5m. Whenever it encounters an enemy on the ground, it will spread its wings to intimidate them. Even its large talons are feared as weapons. It will fly around the skies at a height of 1,200m at Mach 2 speed. A tremendous velocity when flying at full speed. It will have already passed you the moment you notice its sound. The degree of food it captures now extends to the sea. And its main prey is Koiking, which bounces around meaninglessly. This makes it good prey. When looking for food, it will glide over the water’s surface to catch them. Its incredible speed can be utilized in battle as well. It will either slam into it opponents at lightning speed before they have a chance to attack or relax its body to create high-speed movements to move faster than before.
No.019 KorattaCategory: Mouse PokemonHeight: 0.3mWeight: 3.5kgType: NormalA small Pokemon with quick movements, it often appears in various places. If you find one, forty will be living there. It prefers to eat nuts such as walnuts and acorns, and even processed foods such as cheese and milk.It has two long and sharp fangs. Because they will continue to grow for the rest of its life, it will gnaw on hard things to whittle them down. Restless and unable to stay still, it runs around quickly to find hard objects to bite on. At any rate, it will gnaw on anything. It can evolve into a Ratta. Its incisors are also used as weapons, attacking anything by biting and knowing. It will hurt you with them if you look down on it for its small body. It can use its “Deadly Incisor” attack to make its opponents flinch in battle.
No.020 RattaCategory: Mouse PokemonHeight: 0.7mWeight: 18.5kgType: NormalIts appearance is that of an evolved Koratta. It has small webs attached to its three-toed hind feet, which let it swim across rivers to catch food. While its staple food is nuts, it also eats fish. Its prominent whispers work to balance its body. If by some chance they end up cut off, it loses balance and its movements slow down. When it is attacked by an enemy, it will stand up on its hind legs, bare its teeth and let out a cry to threaten its opponent. Or it will also use its “Furious Incisor” attack, which can bring an opponent's health down to half. A Ratta’s incisors are so powerful that it can make a two-story wooden house collapse in five minutes.
No.021 OnisuzumeCategory: Small Bird PokemonHeight: 0.3mWeight: 2.0kgType: Normal/FlyingIn contrast to the personality of a Poppo, it has a rough and intense temperament. Because its wings are short, it is always busily flapping them and flying around here and there. It is not good at flying high or at long distances, but it will fly at tremendous speed to protect its territory. It only stops when it is eating insects, its food-catching area being mostly in thickets. It may have little physical strength, but it can learn a rare technique known as “Parrot Back”. It will easily copy the last technique its opponent used and deliver it back. Its use of this parrotry is formidable.
No.022 OnidrillCategory: Beak PokemonHeight: 1.2mWeight: 38.0kgType: Normal/FlyingThe evolved form of Onisuzume. This Pokemon, which has lived for a long time, likes to skillfully catch the wind with its large wings and slowly fly about. If it feels even the slightest bit of danger, it will fly high into the sky. As a high-endurance Pokemon, it will keep flying in the wide open sky all day long, and is unconcerned if it doesn’t descend once. But when it does, it will suddenly plummet from the clouds and unleash techniques that are difficult to avoid. The power of its beak is strong, allowing it to disturbedly stab at its opponents repeatedly or pierce them with its powerful “Drill Beak.” And if there is a small Pokemon like Koratta or anything like that, it can gulp it down.
No.023 AboCategory: Snake PokemonHeight: 2.0mWeight: 6.9kgType: PoisonMany of them live in places like grasslands, where they can be found often in the summer. It moves without truly showing any signs of being seen, and will flick out its tongue to feel around for any danger. In the middle of the night, it will wrap and entwine itself around tree branches to rest. It steadily grows longer the more it grows up by repeatedly molting, and it hibernates in the warm forest soil in winter time. It will evolve into Arbok as it grows up.A carnivorous Pokemon, it is said to soundlessly search grasslands for its favorite thing to eat: Poppo and Onisuzume eggs. This makes it their natural enemy. It will swallow them (or almost anything small, really) whole without chewing. Even the Korattas it encounters will be harmed. Once it swallows one, it can live without eating anything for a month. In battle, it can scowl at its opponents to lower their defenses and entwine around them, trapping and squeezing them with no chance of escaping.
No.024 ArbokCategory: Cobra PokemonHeight: 3.5mWeight: 65.0kgType: PoisonThis is the evolved form of Abo. And just like Abo, it is a venomous snake. It has a dog-and-monkey relationship with Ratta, who fiercely battle like a viper and mongoose. When it meets an enemy, it will lift its head and show off the terrifying pattern on its stomach to frighten them. Weak ones will run away just by looking at it.This pattern looks like a scary face, and will depend on the region it is in. Rumors say that there are several types of patterns. As a result of research on them, about six have been confirmed. Its specialty is the "Snake Glare”, which can paralyze enemies just by staring at them. Once it has the opportunity, it can spit some of its defense-eating dissolving fluid onto them. If you meet one on the road, you should first look away.
No.025 PikachuuCategory: Mouse PokemonHeight: 0.4mWeight: 6.0kgType: ElectricWith its gentle personality, high intellect, and charm as well, it is the most popular Pokemon among researchers. It lives in deserted forests, where its staple food is things like nuts. It will raise its tail to feel around for any presence. Therefore, if its tail is thoughtlessly pulled, it will bite. Small in numbers, it cannot be found easily. But they say that when a large number of them gather, they create a synergistic effect where they accumulate some intense electricity to the point where lightning may fall.It has small pouches on either sides on its cheeks where it stores electricity. It discharges in case of an emergency. A Pikachuu will become a Raichuu when it evolves, but there are many people who do not evolve it because of its change in appearance. Female Trainers vie for and seek out this Pokemon. They unconsciously go “Cute!” and want to hug them.Pikachuu can learn a variety of electrical and speedy techniques. It can unleash blasts of up to 100,000 volts and even strike its foes at lightning speed. Some are blessed to be taught special techniques as well. One Pikachuu was found along the shore surfing on high waves one summer vacation. Another had overcome its own weakness by flying in the sky.
OP here. I'll post the next 25 later tonight.
Cool thread, OP. Have a bump.
No.026 RaichuuCategory: Mouse PokemonHeight: 0.8mWeight: 3.0kgType: ElectricAs a Pikachuu grows up, it evolves into a Raichuu. Yet there are no reports of them being found in forests. Its electrical shocks can reach up to 100,000 volts, which could make even an Indian elephant faint if it awkwardly touched one. When electricity accumulates in its body, its muscles become stimulated and its personality changes to an aggressive one. But with its long tail serving as a ground, it is able to release this electricity. Because of this, it is protected from getting shocked and numbed by high voltage currents, including its own. It looks as if it shines in the dark.It is a Pokemon that can learn all electrical techniques. However, due to the nature of its evolution, it cannot inherently learn them and must be taught. A Trainer’s best course of action is to raise their Pikachuu to a certain level and then evolve it once it has learned its desired techniques.
No.027 SandCategory: Mouse PokemonHeight: 0.8mWeight: 3.0kgType: GroundA Pokemon that widely inhabits grasslands and mountainous areas, but lives and hides in deep holes dug in places with little moisture. Its skin is dry. However, when the temperature drops in the middle of the night, drops of water are said to stick to its skin. When it is time to hunt, it comes out of its hole and hunts for prey. When catching prey, it waits and sees if it approaches its hole before dragging them down in the blink of an eye. And whenever danger approaches, it protects itself by curling up. It evolves into Sandpan as it grows up.For some reason, it does not curl up in battle. But it can use its claws to scratch in battle. A weak attack, but it can learn stronger clawed attacks as it grows, and can even use poisonous stingers.
No.028 SandpanCategory: Mouse PokemonHeight: 1.0mWeight: 29.5kgType: GroundThe evolved form of Sand. Its specialty is running around quickly and attacking with the thorns on its back and its sharp claws. These claws may break off while fighting, but will grow back again the next day.In particular, once it goes on the defensive, it cannot be gotten close to. When hit, it curls its back into a ball of thorns to either strike or run away. And if it tackles an opponent like this, it will cause great damage! It also has poison, so be careful. Like other sharp-clawed Pokemon, it can tear up its opponents with its own. Already a strong attack, it can also have a chance to strike their weak spot.
No.029 NidoranCategory: Poison Needle PokemonHeight: 0.4mWeight: 7.0kgType: PoisonA Pokemon who does not like to fight and has a gentle personality. But do not judge it for its smallness. If you are not careful approaching it, you will get stabbed by its barbs, whose poisonous power is intense. It even comes out from its horn, which is small for the females.Their breeding season starts every spring, and by the end of summer, they will have laid two eggs. They will hatch two weeks later, one male and one female. These baby Nidoran are 10cm long.It is a generally weak Pokemon until it evolves. In the meantime, it can use its "Cry" technique to lower the attack power of its opponent before it attacks.
No.030 NidorinaCategory: Poison Needle PokemonHeight: 0.8mWeight: 20.0kgType: PoisonThe evolved form of Nidoran. When it becomes a Nidorina, it loses the ability to lay eggs. Being a female, its horn grows slowly, and it is usually kind and gentle. When it goes into the back of its burrow, it always makes sure to retract its thorns. But once it is angered, it will bite, scratch and begin to rampage. This hand-to-hand combat with its sharp claws and fangs is its preferred method of battle. It can emit ultrasonic waves from its mouth to mislead its opponents, but this may be hearsay as no wild Nidorina have been known to learn this technique. It may be confused with its normal "Cry" technique.
No.031 NidoqueenCategory: Drill PokemonHeight: 1.3mWeight: 60.0kg (erroneously 6.0kg)Type: Poison/GroundWhat was thought to be the supposed final evolutionary form of Nidoran, it was said that a special stone was necessary to achieve this. Studies have now confirmed this. It is the owner of a sturdy body covered in very hard, barb-like scales. They protect it from attacks and will stand on end when agitated or excited. They grow and replace themselves. It is not so easily damaged.Through its large, dignified body, it can unleash a variety of powerful, daring techniques. As it grows, it can learn great skills such as “Megaton Punch” and “Daimonji”. Its versatility makes it a great Pokemon to teach TMs to.
No.032 NidoranCategory: Poison Needle PokemonHeight: 0.5mWeight: 9.0kgType: PoisonWhen its large ears listen for distant sounds, they move as if they are flapping. They are always standing up and looking for signs. Once it senses danger, it will show off and use its poisonous barbs. It will do this even when angry. It has many of them all over its body. The longer they are, the stronger the poison it produces. It will show them off if it gets angry.During the breeding season, the color of its horn glows in seven colors, appealing to the females. It seems that the bigger horn is more favorable to them.Somewhat stronger yet still not so much as the females. It has no problem thrusting with its horn in battle, and would rather scowl to lower the defensive power of its opponents than cry to lower their attack power.
No.033 NidorinoCategory: Poison Needle PokemonHeight: 0.9mWeight: 19.5kgType: PoisonThe evolved form of Nidoran. Unlike Nidorina, it is capable of breeding. It has a short-tempered and quarrelsome personality. It will try to fight as soon as something happens. It shows off its developed horn, which is harder than diamonds and can skewer them. Moreover, this horn has a mechanism that produces and oozes out some powerful and intense toxins upon impact of piercing. It will pump them into its opponent when it stabs them. When it grows up, it evolves into Nidoking.Like its pre-evolved form and female counterparts, it can use its sturdy hind legs to unleash a devastating Double Kick. Some of its species may be lucky enough to learn this technique early.
No.034 NidokingCategory: Drill PokemonHeight: 1.4mWeight: 62.0kgType: Poison/GroundThe final evolution of Nidoran. Like the females, it requires a special stone to evolve. It is characterized by its skin (described as rock-hard or steel-like) and its elongated horn and claws. It looks ad if it were completely wearing stone armor. It makes use of its hardened skin with powerful body blows. Be careful of its sharp horn, for it is also poisonous and can pierce diamonds.Similar to Nidoqueen, it is able to learn great skills. However, it does not like to fight against them. In battle, its thick tail is its greatest weapon. It is said to shake and swing it to tighten it around its opponents. Eventually, it finishes them by breaking their spine. Of course, no good Pokemon Trainer would resort to this extreme method of battling.
No.035 PippiCategory: Fairy PokemonHeight: 0.6mWeight: 7.5kgType: NormalA popular Pokemon among humans and its own kind. Its mystery and cuteness has garnered it many fans. Many people want one as a pet because of its cute, pink and laid-back appearance, and its lovely charm and gestures. However, it is difficult to find due to its limited habitat and small numbers. The only documented cases of its capture are within the caves of Mt. Otsukimi.Pippi’s specialty is its "Wag a Finger” technique, from which it can randomly perform various techniques. It will sometimes produce a big technique that doesn’t suit its appearance, which will leave it surprised at what it just performed.
No.036 PixieCategory: Fairy PokemonHeight: 1.3mWeight: 40.0kgType: NormalPippi may evolve into Pixie, but many people don’t want to evolve it due to its cute appearance. It is a fairy companion that takes care of its own world and rarely appears in public. Like Pippi, Pixie does not like fighting very much. Perhaps because of this, it has well-developed hearing and can superbly hear the sound of a needle being dropped a distance of one kilometer away.It dislikes noise and clamoring. If it hears a dangerous noise or senses an approaching human presence, it will run away immediately and hide. It will not come out when people are around. It will also use mysterious powers only fairies have to protect its friends if it senses a nearby presence. Chief among them is the ability to shrink, which it can use in battle to heighten its evasiveness. The smaller it gets, the harder it is to hit.
No.037 RokonCategory: Fox PokemonHeight: 0.6mWeight: 9.9kgType: FlameA Pokemon believed to be in the same category as foxes. When it is born, it has only one, pure-white tail on its rear. It splits at the tip and separates into six. As a child, its tails and coat are beautiful. As it grows bigger, the tail multiplies further. When it increases to a maximum of nine, its form becomes that of a Kyuukon, its evolutionary form.In battle, it can wag its tails to catch its opponents off guard and lower their defensive power. Then it can burn them with its sparks or its flamethrower attack once it grows stronger.
No.038 KyuukonCategory: Fox PokemonHeight: 1.1mWeight: 19.9kgType: FlameThe evolved form of Rokon. There is a legend left behind that nine saints united and were reborn as this Pokemon. It is a long-lived Pokemon with shining golden fur and nine long tails, and is said to live for 1,000 years. This has given birth to the saying, “A Kyuukon, one thousand years, a Kamex, ten thousand years.”Its is inteligent and has a vindictive personality. If you jokingly grab its tail, something it hates, is is said to curse you for 1,000 years or make you that age. With its mystical, spiritual powers, it will sometimes bewitch its Trainer. While it can only inherit this technique as a Rokon, it can flash a suspicious light to confuse its opponents. This is a power mostly tied to Ghost-types.
No.039 PurinCategory: Balloon PokemonHeight: 0.5mWeight: 5.5kgType: NormalIt invites opponents in to stare back into its large, round eyes. It is as if they were sucking them in Once these eyes waver, it begins to sing a strange yet pleasantly comfortable song. Pokemon who hear this will feel sleepy and be put to rest.At first glance, it is cute, but there are many techniques it can learn. If there is something it doesn’t like, it puffs up and swells up like a balloon. It can also either weigh on its opponents to paralyze them or unleash a sharp and consecutive "Double Slap."
No.040 PukurinCategory: Balloon PokemonHeight: 1.0mWeight: 12.0gType: NormalWhen a Purin evolves, it becomes a Pukurin. Its finely-textured, delicate and supple fur is enchanting, enough to be a luxury item. It also has a puffy and excellently elastic body. But while it is a quiet Pokemon, if it gets angry, it will take a deep breath and rapidly inflate itself like a balloon.Regarding techniques, it has much in common with Purin, but it seems to be able to learn "Destructive Beam" as well. A rather interesting one it can learn is also “Sleep Paralysis”, where it can disable its opponents from using one of its techniques for a varying period of time.
No.041 ZubatCategory: Bat PokemonHeight: 0.8mWeight: 12.0gType: Poison/FlyingIt appears in groups in dark places like mountain caves and rarely flies outside of them. In rare cases, you might see it flying around at night. Because it lives in the special environment of darkness, both its eyes have degenerated and disappeared. It doesn’t even have a nose either. While flying around in the dark, it emits invisible ultrasonic waves from its mouth to catch its surroundings and listens to them with its large, sound insulating ears. It uses this technique to sense what lies ahead and when it approaches a target. It will use these waves and its “Suspicious Light” technique before swooping in to suck its prey's blood.
No.042 GolbatCategory: Bat PokemonHeight: 1.6mWeight: 55.0gType: Poison/FlyingThe evolved form of Zubat. It makes its habitat in the same mountain caves as them, and even emits ultrasonic waves from its mouth as it flies around in the dark.It lives by sucking the blood of living things. It will noiselessly sneak up out of nowhere from behind and bite with its sharp fangs, where it will start to suck at the same time. It will consume up to 300cc of blood at once. This can be fatal at times. But this is a stupid thing. Because it will do this until it kills its opponents, its body becomes heavier and it may be unable to fly or move on its own. Depending on the person whose blood is sucked, its personality will change. One of its stranger techniques is the ability to exhale a black haze. This mysterious cold mist has the power to undo any and all status changes, and can even undo any other power increase and decreases. This affects both itself and its opponent.
No.043 NazonokusaCategory: Weed PokemonHeight: 0.6mWeight: 5.4gType: Grass/PoisonA nocturnal Pokemon also known as Archimendes. At night, it is said to walk 300m on its two roots and begin its activities. But why does it do this despite being a plant? Recent studies have shown that it is for the sake of "seed conservation". As it walks, this Pokemon sprinkles pollen and propagates by sowing its seeds. In the daytime, however, it buries its face in the ground and does not move much, with only its head and leaves exposed. If you think it is just grass and try to pull it, it will cry out. For some reason, this is very frightening. When it grows up, it evolves into Kusaihana. Along with spreading a variety of powders to inflict status effects on its opponents, it can also absorb their life force through a special photosynthesis. It is not strong, but it will heal its wounds. It can, however, be taught the much stronger "Mega Drain."
No.044 KusaihanaCategory: Weed PokemonHeight: 0.8mWeight: 6.8gType: Grass/PoisonThe evolved form of Nazonokusa, and it is terribly smelly! Its postil releases an incredibly smelly stench that can reach up to 2km away. If you inadvertently inhale it, you will either lose your mind or faint. Even so, there is one in a thousand people who enjoy smelling it.What is oozing out of its mouth little by little is not drool, and is not dirty either. It is a sweet-smelling, honey-like sap that attracts prey. It seems to evolve further through the use of a certain stone. It is said that it can get confused by its own pollen, perhaps because it smells too strong. Its numbing powder can paralyze its opponents and slow them down.
No.045 RafflesiaCategory: Flower PokemonHeight: 1.2mWeight: 18.6kgType: Grass/PoisonThe evolved form of Kusaihana, which requires a certain stone to achieve. From the world's largest petals, it scatters poisonous, allergy-causing pollen like a demon. A frightening noise resonates from them when it does so. The larger the petals, the more pollen it produces. However, if they are too large, it will get difficult for it to move due to their weight and will make it tired.Perhaps because of its strong pollen, no other Pokemon can approach where a Rafflesia lives. And while this is one of its primary methods of battle, it can also break out into a chaotic dance of petals and scatter them to attack. This frantic dance lasts for a while until it is rendered confused by the fatigue. Nazonokusa and Kusaihana can also learn this risky technique.
No.046 ParasCategory: Mushroom PokemonHeight: 0.3mWeight: 5.4kgType: Bug/GrassGrowing upon the back of this insect are mushrooms known as touchuukasou. They grow larger as it gets bigger, mainly by sucking up the body’s essence. When it is little, it loves under dead trees within forests. It digs a hole and sucks on tree roots for nourishment, but most of the nutrients are robbed by the mushrooms. When it has grown up enough, it will move out to grasslands and wetlands.Like Zubat, it is also a blood sucker, and will use numbing powder from its mushrooms to paralyze them. Otherwise, it will scratch up its opponents in battle.
No.047 ParasectCategory: Mushroom PokemonHeight: 1.0mWeight: 29.5kgType: Bug/GrassWhen a Paras evolves, it becomes a Parasect. Its main habitats are grasslands and wetlands, preferring to be active in damp places. As its evolution, it is classified as a member of “Forest Pokemon”, but it is rarely ever found in one.It acts upon the will of the mushroom, no longer the insect it is attached to. In fact, it is bigger than its host. Its extract will continue to be absorbed by it for a long time. In the meantime, the mushroom will manipulate the insect to disperse poisonous spores from the cap. But in China, these spores are used as a raw material for Chinese herbal medicine. Also a blood sucker, and like Paras, it can spread special mushroom spores to put its opponents to sleep.
No.048 CompangCategory: Insect PokemonHeight: 1.0mWeight: 30.0kgType: Bug/PoisonA Pokemon confirmed to be a member of the insect family. What was speculated to be potential for evolution was confirmed when it was discovered to evolve into the Poison Moth Pokemon called Morphon. It seems to live under tall trees and eats things like insects. Its large eyes act as radars, which allow it to be active even in the dark. Though it does have a habit of gathering around lights at night, which it is said to love doing. In bright places, you can see that its eyes are made of smaller ones compounded together. It can fire beams from its eyes. The most prominent of these is the “Psychedelic Beam”, a blast of peculiar psychokinetic energy. This has a chance of confusing its target, giving it an opportunity to attack further. Like Butterfree, it has the surprising potential to learn Esper-type techniques.
No.049 MorphonCategory: Poison Moth PokemonHeight: 1.5mWeight: 12.5kgType: Bug/PoisonThe evolved form of Compang. Initially, its larval and pupal stages were shrouded in mystery. Due to the small number of its inhabitants, it is difficult to find, and it was initially confirmed to live only in the Safari Zone. The scales on its wings have highly poisonous powder. But there are various types covering its wings, and depending on the color, they can produce different effects and have varying poisons. Every time it flutters and flaps, the scales attached to its wings are sprinkled along with the powder, and standing downwind from it will lead to you getting poisoned. They are hard to remove when they attach to the body, and its toxic components permeate from there.Despite its typing and weaknesses, its versatility of status-effecting powders, Esper-type accessibility and the ability to suck blood make it a formidable Pokemon. Some lucky juvenile Morphon are able to release ultrasonic waves and even use psychic willpower to catch their foes off guard.
No.050 DigdaCategory: Mole PokemonHeight: 0.2mWeight: 0.8kgType: GroundIt prefers dark places and moves in shallow places, digging through one meter holes underground and subsiding by munching on tree roots. It spends most of its time there, but will often show up in caves. After it digs, you can immediately tell where it is because the ground is raised. Digda often emerges from holes after an Iwahk has passed by, probably aiming for its leftover food.It will occasionally show its face above ground. Outside of the ground, it is about 20cm. However, its true size is still unknown. When it evolves, it becomes a Dugtrio. Its ability to dig a hole is a very good Ground-type technique that can be taught to many Pokemon. Some seem to have the potential to naturally learn this, but there have been no known cases so far. Caution must be taken in using this, for despite being a good technique to avoid being attacked, the ground-disrupting “Earthquake” and the deadly “Fissure” can reach them. It can also be used outside of battles to escape caves.
For those wondering, these Dex entries are a translated mix of- Red/Green- Blue- Yellow- Stadium- The Pokemon Encyclopedia- TCG- Two Carddass setsAs well as some flavor text regarding techniques and other references.
These are all pretty damn good.
Awh man, this is cool! This is super super cool.
Really sweet art anon.
I worked on these for a whole damn year in '25 before I posted them daily. I just wanted to do something special given it was 30 years as a whole.
OP again. I'll post the next 50 some time tomorrow.
bump
>>59692690OP is a hetero.
cool art but if you're going for the original sprites and even the original japanese names you really should have stuck to the red and green entries(+ at most the tajiri encyclopedia and blue) instead of a piling in a bunch of late revisionism
OP here. Back to posting. I'm glad everyone's liking this so far.>>59693917Lol not really>>59693935I thought of that, but honestly, I wanted to pay homage to everything Gen 1. I know some info does end up being used in Gen 2, but some of them did come from the Encyclopedia while it was being developed.
No.051 DugtrioCategory: Mole PokemonHeight: 0.7mWeight: 33.3kgType: GroundA triplet of Digdas with excellent teamwork. They always move around together, able to dig above and under ground up to 100km. This is reported to sometimes cause earthquakes. Given their nature, some classify it in the same single category as Dodrio, Tamatama and Nasshy. They burrow down into the ground, attacking their opponents in another location while they are off guard. They can also dig a massive hole and wait for its enemies. A weakened enemy may end up pushed down this hole. The earthquakes they can generate can even be utilized in battle.
No.052 NyasCategory: Bakeneko PokemonHeight: 0.2mWeight: 4.2kgType: NormalIt is nocturnal. It just sleeps in the daytime. But at night, it seems to become more energetic. Its eyes shine as it wanders its territory. It loves round and shiny objects, and it will delightfully collect a wide range of its fallen coins and returns with them. They are its favorite. It can’t help but to pick one up if it finds it.It is also a nice and grateful Pokemon, which earns money through the technique called “Koban for the Cat”. It will hurl coins at its opponents, which are then given to its Trainer. A weak technique, but it can be taught to other Pokemon as well.
No.053 PersianCategory: Siamese PokemonHeight: 1.0mWeight: 32.0kgType: NormalWhen a Nyas grows up, it evolves into a Persian. A very popular Pokemon desired as a pet by many people thanks to its beautiful coat. The gem on its forehead shines! In addition, its figure as it walks has a princess-like grace and brilliance. Women keep them for admiration. Even the boss of the Rocket Gang owned one as a pet. However, it is very rare and difficult to raise. It has a tempestuous and fussy temperament. It will scratch before long due to its fastidious personality. And if its tail is straightened out, be careful, because this forewarns that it will pounce and bite. Along with using its sharp claws to deliver a continuous, disturbed scratching, it can unleash an unpleasant noise that harshly lowers defenses.
No.054 KoduckCategory: Duck PokemonHeight: 0.8mWeight: 19.6kgType: WaterA Pokemon that inhabits the waterside. It is always suffering from a headache, often holding its head. It may look absentminded, but do not underestimate this fellow. When its anguishing headache grows worse, it begins to show off its mysterious powers. Its vacant face does not suit it. If you are not careful of its dazed expression, it will quickly use advanced techniques such as “Willpower” (it is unknown if that is its intention or not) and “Sleep Paralysis”. It can also learn a variety of techniques such as “Superhuman Strength”, “Surfing”, and “Dig a Hole”. If you are not careful, you will get hurt. When it grows up, it evolves into a Golduck
No.055 GolduckCategory: Duck PokemonHeight: 1.7mWeight: 76.7kgType: WaterThe evolved form of Koduck. Its elegant figure can be seen in places such as lakes. Thanks to its long, slender legs and large, developed webbing on its palms and toes, it is good at swimming. Some people mistake its appearance for a kappa as it swims gracefully along the shores at dusk. Its headache from its days as a Koduck has vanished as if it were a lie, and it unknowingly acquired powerful supernatural powers. It can even learn moves such as “Destructive Beam”, something unseen in Koduck.
No.056 MankeyCategory: Pig Monkey PokemonHeight: 0.5mWeight: 28.0kgType: FightingNimble and living trees, it has a wild and violent temperament. At first glance, it appears to be in a good and well-behaved mood (which it usually is). But if it is the slightest bit displeased at the most trivial of things, its mood completely changes and it will suddenly act frighteningly violent with some momentum.Once it gets angry, it will start an rampaging out of control and pounce on whatever is around. And with its light movements, it would be careless to approach. Some researchers point its rage to a calcium deficiency.Like some Pokemon, it will use these riots as a continuous and uncontrollable attack in battle. However, its anger will leave it in a confused state.
No.057 OkorizaruCategory: Pig Monkey PokemonHeight: 1.0mWeight: 32.0kgType: FightingThe evolved form of Mankey. Vindictive in personality, it is always vehemently angry for some reason. Once it becomes angry, it is a terrifying fellow that will chase you with precision to the ends of the earth, no matter how much you run away. You should not make eye contact so as not to get involved with it. If you do and its eyes fix on you, it is all over. Because it does not know why it is angry, it cannot calm down. But it will stop only when nobody is around, something that is difficult to witness. There have been recent reports of its hot-tempered personality changed to being frenzied, as if it were exaggerating it.Being a Fighting-type, it is also can learn some very powerful physical attacks. It can counter attacks and return whatever damage it took back against them, and can even use the mighty “Earth Throw”, a gravity-powered mid-air toss that’s only as strong as the user.
No.058 GuardyCategory: Puppy PokemonHeight: 0.7mWeight: 19.0kgType: FlameDespite its friendly and sincere personality, this Pokemon has a very strong, territorial consciousness. When a stranger suddenly approaches, it will try to drive them away by beginning to bark loudly and will bite if they are careless. It is well known that many Flame-type Pokemon live on Guren Island, and Guardy is no exception. Guren Island was once an active volcano. It is thought that the unique living environment had a great influence on Pokemon. Recent research has revealed that the key to the evolution of this Pokemon lies in “stones”.Aside from its use of its biting and battering techniques, it will also roar to drive away its opponents. This vocalization is loud enough to scare them off, and will force a Pokemon change in Trainer battles.
No.059 WindyCategory: Legendary PokemonHeight: 1.9mWeight: 155.0kgType: FlameA legendary Pokemon that remains in Chinese tradition. A Windy tag is considered to be beneficial as a talisman. Its beauty has captivated people since ancient times, as has its figure when it runs lightly as if it were flying. It is said to run at tremendous speeds. Although there is no accurate record, its speed definitely exceeds that of the Shinkansen. It can use its speed to attack its opponents. While most of its techniques have to be inherited as a Guardy or taught via TMs, one of its hard-hitting techniques is “Rush”. It will slam itself at its opponents with more strength than usual, but at the cost of hurting itself in the process.
No.060 NyoromoCategory: Tadpole PokemonHeight: 0.6mWeight: 12.4kgType: WaterA Pokemon that can be classified in the same category as tadpoles. Its smooth, dark skin is thin and moist. Because of this, some of its spiral-shaped and transparent internal organs show through. The direction of its swirl seems to differ depending on the region it is born in.Its legs are still growing, so it cannot walk well just yet. It prefers swimming in water. When it grows, it will lose its tail, grow hands and become a Nyorozo. While it is able to shoot bubbles, it can be taught the stronger “Bubble Beam” technique. This harsher spray of bubbles has the power to slow down its opponents.
No.061 NyorozoCategory: Tadpole PokemonHeight: 1.0mWeight: 20.0kgType: WaterThe evolved form of Nyoromo. When tadpoles grow up, they become frogs. But for some reason, Nyoromo remains a tadpole, developing muscles and becoming a Nyorozo. It has grown some impressive limbs, its legs being well-developed. While it can live on land, it likes the underwater life for some reason. On land, it always sweats and moistens its skin, making it slippery. When it is about to be attacked, it uses the swirl on its stomach to hypnotize its opponents to sleep and seems to run away in that interlude.
No.062 NyorobonCategory: Tadpole PokemonHeight: 1.3mWeight: 54.0kgType: Water/FightingIt seems to be an evolved form of Nyorozo, but it remains a tadpole as usual. Is it possible for it to evolve further and become a frog? Further research is needed.Using the well-developed muscles of its whole body, it can steadily overtake even Olympic athletes. It shows off its powerful swimming with its specialty crawl and butterfly. And it doesn’t have to take many breaths when doing this. It is too fast for them in individual medleys. However, it is not very fast running on ground, which may be why its muscles developed just for swimming. Thanks to its strength, it is capable of learning some strong Fighting-type techniques. A rather risky yet powerful technique is the “Jigoku Guruma”, or “Hell Wheel”. It grabs its opponents and rolls them both backwards like a wheel before tossing them. It is a reckless technique that will also hurt it in the process.
No.063 CayceCategory: Willpower PokemonHeight: 0.9mWeight: 19.5kgType: EsperA mysterious Pokemon that sleeps for 16-18 hours a day. Small in number and rarely encountered. Even as it sleeps, it uses a variety of psychic powers. It can read what others are thinking and will teleport to escape as soon as it senses their desire to fight. When danger approaches, it will suddenly disappear to a distant place before it gets into a pinch. Even if it is found, it is often impossible to capture it. Its evolved form is Ungeller.Perhaps because it is constantly sleeping, it cannot inherently learn anything else besides its teleportation. Useless in Trainer battles, it can help escape wild battles, and can take their Trainer to the last Pokemon Center they went to. Outside of this, it is powerless in battle unless their Trainer teaches them a powerful move to use until it evolves.
No.064 UngellerCategory: Willpower PokemonHeight: 1.3mWeight: 56.5kgType: Esper“It occurred one morning. When a young boy with supernatural powers woke up from bed, he had transformed into a Ungeller.” That is the famous opening excerpt to Transformation, a novel based on Ungeller that won the “2nd Pokemon Literary Award”. It is still fresh in many readers’ memories. If Pikachuu is the “Idol Pokemon”, then Ungeller can be said to be a “Pokemon Favored by Connoisseurs”.As a Cayce evolves, it becomes a Ungeller. When it uses its psychokinetic powers, all of its brain cells work to produce very powerful, special alpha waves. Its body is constantly emitting them. Strange things will happen if one is nearby, such as clocks rotating backwards. And just approaching them will make your head hurt. There are also rumors that its powers are involved in the shadows of mysterious events. Now evolved, it will begin to use techniques such as “Willpower” and “Sleep Paralysis”. Its specialty is the ability to bend its spoon. This is a strange technique that confounds the target and affects their accuracy. However, only certain wild Ungeller can learn this, as it cannot do so when it evolves.
No.065 HoudinCategory: Willpower PokemonHeight: 1.5mWeight: 48.0kgType: EsperA Pokemon that manipulate supernatural powers. It seems to be the evolved form of Ungeller, and for a time, its evolutionary process remained a mystery. It is said to have an IQ of 5,000, capable of analyzing and calculating faster than a supercomputer. It can remember anything and doesn’t forget anything it experiences. It can even instantly spot weaknesses in its opponents. It is not fond of using brute force, so it manipulates its supernatural powers to defeat its opponents. It is said that its sole facial expression does not change during battle, as if it were being manipulated by something. Thanks to its high Special Ability, its Special attacks such as "Psychedelic Beam" hit harder than ever. But because its defense is low, it may need to learn “Reflector” to reduce any physical damage it takes by half.
No.066 WanrikyCategory: Superhuman Strength PokemonHeight: 0.8mWeight: 19.5kgType: FightingA Pokemon that loves to train its muscles. It challenges and masters a variety of martial arts to grow increasingly stronger. Thanks to this, its small yet powerful body has become a muscle, capable of making biceps anywhere on it.While it is only about the size of a child, it has the power to hurl away 100 adults. It is said that nobody in the professional wrestling world can fall a Wanriky. As it grows up, its muscles develop further and will evolve into Gohriky. In battle, it will use a variety of Fighting-type techniques. While weaker than most, yet no-less effective, “Ketaguri” (inward ankle sweep) can make an opponent flinch, stopping whatever attack it was about to use.
No.067 GohrikyCategory: Superhuman Strength PokemonHeight: 1.5mWeight: 70.5kgType: FightingA Pokemon with an extremely strong body that does not get tired. Honest and precise, it can help out with tasks such as transporting heavy luggage. Since its whole body is muscular, it is not very smart, but it is not a violent creature. There have been some reports of it acting violently, however…Because its strength is incredibly powerful (something it doesn’t brag about), it has to suppress it by wearing a power-save belt. It is impossible for anyone to stop a Gohriky’s momentum if this belt wrapped around it is ever removed.A harsh combination of techniques it can use is “Kiai Dame” (kiai accumulate) and Karate Chop. The latter has a chance to strike a weak spot, while the former lets the Pokemon focus in order to increase the probability of achieving this strike. For some reason, this does not always seem to work.
No.068 KairiykyCategory: Superhuman Strength PokemonHeight: 1.6mWeight: 130.0kgType: FightingWanriky’s final evolved form. No one has seen Gohriky’s evolutionary process until recently. While evolution in Pokemon has been witnessed as triggered by growth, the latest research has concluded that those like Kairiky and Gorohnya do not evolve this way.The power of its four arms is substantial. It is possible for it to unleash a thousand punches in two seconds with these developed arms. It has the techniques to unleash an uppercut, hook, straight, and karate chop at the same time, which is almost impossible to defend from. They say that who or whatever is hit by one of its super-powerful punches will be blown away over the horizon. An amazing punch delivered by using all of its arms has the power to move even a single mountain. It can be taught a variety of other attacks, but physical ones are better suited for it. It can also be taught a technique it shares a name with, “Superhuman Strength”. A powerful strike, it can be used outside of battle to push otherwise immovable boulders.
No.069. MadatsubomiCategory: Flower PokemonHeight: 0.7mWeight: 4.0kgType: Grass/PoisonA weed-like Pokemon. It is a type of carnivorous plant that catches small insects, its staple food, with its vines. While it usually lives off of them, it can use its roots to replenish its moisture with water from the ground. It also uses these roots as feet to walk.It prefers places with high temperatures and high humidity. Due to its bud looking like a human face, it is whispered to be a type of legendary mandragora. It evolves into Utsudon when it grows up. Speaking of which, it can force itself to grow in the middle of battle to raise the proficiency of its special abilities.
No.070 UtsudonCategory: Flycatcher PokemonHeight: 1.0mWeight: 6.4kgType: Grass/PoisonThe evolved form of Madatsubomi. It has a large mouth which, unlike Madatsubomi, lets it catch and eat insects that are quite large in size. Though the scene is extremely strange. It can live off of smaller insects.A part of the leaves have become cutters and can cut through opponents. After producing a poisonous powder, it spits it out to immobilize its opponents. It then finishes them off by spitting a liquid that can dissolve anything from its mouth.
No.071 UtsubotCategory: Flycatcher PokemonHeight: 1.7mWeight: 15.5kgType: Grass/PoisonIt was considered to be the evolved form of Utsudon due to its many similarities, which was confirmed through the use of a special stone. As an omnivore, it will eat anything it puts in its mouth, from insects to small animals. It will attract prey with the scent of honey from within its mouth. Once it lures you in, you will meet your end.It will melt you with its dissolving fluids. Whatever is put in its mouth will melt in a day, including the bones. There is an area in the backwoods of a jungle where there are only Utsubot growing in groups. If you go there, you will never return alive. Thanks to having sharp leaves, it can learn “Iaigiri” from a Secret Machine. It is a swift slash performed in an unsheathing motion, and can be taught to anything with sharp enough claws or blades. Outside of battle, it can clear a path in tall grass and can cut down obstructing trees.
No.072 MenokurageCategory: Jellyfish PokemonHeight: 0.9mWeight: 45.5kgType: Water/PoisonA Pokemon that lives in the sea, always floating along the shallow parts and feeding on plankton. Its body is made of 99% water. And its eyeballs, as clear as crystal, can fire off beams of mysterious light.Although it can sometimes be discovered dried up along the beach, it can be revived if immersed in water. Just be careful, for it can sting you if you touch it with your hands. It is often heard that anglers suffer from this when they mistakenly lift them. It uses its tentacles to either sting or ensnare in battle. And in order to protect itself, it will create a barrier to increase its own defense.
No.073 DokukurageCategory: Jellyfish PokemonHeight: 1.6mWeight: 65.0kgType: Water/PoisonThe evolved form of Menokurage. It is a Pokemon with many tentacles, up to 80! They are usually short, but when prey like small fish approach, they freely expand and contract to coil whatever they point at. Any enemy entwined in its tentacles cannot leave no mater what they do.It will also weaken them with its poison with the needles attached to its tentacles. When it stings, the pain is sharp and shooting, and your whole body will become paralyzed. For this reason, it is called the “Gangster of the Sea.”Along with most other Water-types, it is able to learn “Hydro Pump” after enough training. A powerful water blast, the strength of it does have the drawback of lower accuracy.
No.074 IshitsubuteCategory: Rock PokemonHeight: 0.4mWeight: 20.0kgType: Rock/GroundMany of them inhabit places such as grasslands, caves and mountain roads where hikers can find. When it moves uphill, if there are areas with steps, it will use both arms dexterously to go over it. It is a gentle Pokemon that does not harm people. But because it looks like a stone, people will end up unknowingly stepping on and stumbling over it. And if they look closer, it just may be an understandably angry Ishitsubute.Being round and easy to hold, Ishitsubute can be grabbed and thrown at opponents in battle to hit them. If someone isn’t strong enough to throw it, it will do so itself. And if it doesn’t want to use its body, it will grab and throw other rocks at its opponents instead.
No.075 GorohnCategory: Rock PokemonHeight: 1.0mWeight: 105.0kgType: Rock/GroundThe evolved form of Ishitsubute. This Pokemon looks like a large rock. Normally docile, it will get angry if stepped on, so be careful. When walking along mountain slopes, it often has a chance of rolling down. It will continuously and willingly crush whataver gets in its way. Obstructive things such as grass and trees will be mowed down, and it will not care. Its face may be laughing, but its eyes are not. And because it rolls with that expression, it looks pretty creepy. In battle, it can unleash a heavy avalanche of rocks and boulders down on its opponents. Stronger than “Rock Throw”, this technique has a chance of making them flinch.
No.076 GorohnyaCategory: Megaton PokemonHeight: 1.4mWeight: 300.0kgType: Rock/GroundThe final evolved form of Ishitsubute. It was once considered to probably be an evolution of Gorohn, and its evolutionary process was a mystery. It is a Pokemon whose 300kg body is covered in a hard, bedrock-like shell. It takes no damage, even if it is blown up with dynamite. It does molt once a year and grows larger. Freshly molted, it is completely soft and whitish until it comes on contact with the air, immediately hardening it. If you are lucky, you can see its molted shell on summery mountains. It can roll down these slopes twice as fast as Gorohn. With its heavy body, not only can it create earthquakes, but it can be taught to create fissures. By opening up the earth, it can drop its opponents into a deep chasm to instantly knock it out. It is a dangerous move, but it is not very accurate.
No.077 PonytaCategory: Fire HorsePokemonHeight: 1.0mWeight: 30.0kgType: FireAn herbivorous and mild-mannered Pokemon, you’ll want to be careful not to get kicked when hammering in its horseshoes. And if you are careful about getting burns, you can ride on its back. Its body is light and the strength of its legs is tremendous. It can even clear Toukyou Tower in one jump. After such a tremendous leap, its landing impact is softened by the muscles in its legs and hooves. As it grows, it grows a horn on its head and will evolve into a Gallop. It is said that its hooves are ten times harder than diamonds. Anything it tramples on will be crushed flat. Most Pokemon with powerful legs or hooves can use this in battle, and can make opponents flinch.
No.078 GallopCategory: Fire Horse PokemonHeight: 1.7mWeight: 95.0kgType: FlameThe evolved form of Ponyta. It has a gentle personality and is smart, so it gets along well with humans and obediently listens to what they say. But those with fierce dispositions cannot be touched if they rampage.Generally speaking, it loves to run and compete. If it sees any moving objects faster than itself like cars or trains, it can’t help but chase after them at breakneck speed. Its maximum speed is 240km/h, the same as the Shinkansen. And when it runs, its flaring, burning figure looks like a red comet. Most of its Flame-type techniques must be taught, but it can learn to create a flaming vortex in battle. Opponents will be ensnared in an inescapable ring of fire. While it is weak, it will continually be burned by the flames until they go out.
No.079 YadonCategory: Stupid PokemonHeight: 1.2mWeight: 36.0kgType: Water/EsperA foolish Pokemon with a goofy face. It is very stupid and its movements are sluggish and just as foolish. It is slow to respond, so even if someone hits it, it takes about five seconds to notice and feel any pain. Asleep or awake, it does not change much. Some people are calm and some are frustrated when they see a Yadon. Whoever calms down must be a busy person…It lives leisurely by the water without worrying about the passage of time. It has the intelligence of a fish, and no further intellectual behavior can be seen. Being absentminded all the time, nobody knows what its thinking. Except when it comes to luring fish and other prey with its tail, which it specializes in. It will often dive underwater to search for food, but it may end up being caught by mistake. When it grows, it evolves into Yadoran. Its absentmindedness has a surprising effect in battle. By having a memory lapse, it can forget its worries and focus its energy into its special abilities. A tide-turning power that can amplify its already interesting Esper-type techniques.
No.080 YadoranCategory: Hermit Crab PokemonHeight: 1.6mWeight: 78.5kgType: Water/EsperWhen a Yadon goes to the sea to catch some prey and a Shellder bites its tail, it becomes a Yadoran. It is unclear as to why it did not try to remove it. It was probably troublesome. Besides, the two are said to happily coexist and live leisurely near the sea. The Shellder stuck to the tail likes chewing on it, and is said to live by feeding on its leftover food. But if it comes off its tail, the Yadoran will turn back into a Yadon. It can learn strong, striking techniques such as “Megaton Punch” and “Megaton Kick”, but it does not really like fighting. Like Yadon, it likes being absentminded. Because of this, it may end up being used by humans.
No.081 CoilCategory: Magnet PokemonHeight: 0.3mWeight: 6.0kgType: ElectricA Pokemon that seems to float thanks to its natural ability to block gravity. The left and right units discharge antigravity and radiate electromagnetic waves. When you look up in the sky, it may appear out of nowhere. Although its nature is different from other "Sky-Flying Pokemon" introduced elsewhere, there is no other place to classify it; therefore, it has been placed in this classification for the time being. Further research is needed. When several Coils combine to power up, they become a Rarecoil. It is said that a strong, magnetic force barrier is formed when multiple Coil and Rarecoil gather together. It also has the power to create weak yet destructive shockwaves in a sonic boom to damage its opponents.
No.082 RarecoilCategory: Magnet PokemonHeight: 1.0mWeight: 60.0kgType: ElectricThe evolved form of Coil that happens when multiple Coils connect together. These connecting-type Coils are said to appear when there are many increasing sunspots. The number of connections increase the more sunspots appear during the season. It is currently unknown what kind of power it uses to float in the air or whether it is a living creature or a machine. Research is ongoing by various scientists. It radiates powerful magnetic force lines and high voltage. It transmits mysterious radio signals and raises the temperature by 2°C within a one kilometer radius. It is said that there are many cases of Rarecoil using its magnetic power lines to destroy data on personal computers. These disorienting waves can be used in battle, and like several other Pokemon, it can be taught “Flash”. This brilliant light can blind opponents and illuminate dark caves.
No.083 KamonegiCategory: Spot-Billed Duck PokemonHeight: 0.8mWeight: 15.0kgType: Normal/FlyingA rare Pokemon that lives where plant stalks are growing. It builds its own nest with them, one of which it always carries around. While it is unknown as to what kind of stem it is, recent research has shown that it serves as its emergency food and an important weapon.Information stating that cooked Kamonegi and its stalk is delicious to eat together has spread nationwide by the media for several years. This has led to it being hunted by humans and sharply diminishing the Kamonegi population. In case of an emergency, it will use its stalk like a sword in battle and swing it to cut various things. It can be taught the unique "Iaigiri", a swift blade strike where the user quickly unsheathes, slashes, and sheathes their sword. Outside of battle, it can cut down any dense foliage that blocks its path. It can also perform a frenetic "Dance of Swords" to bolster its spirit and its attack power greatly.
No.084 DodoCategory: Twin Bird PokemonHeight: 1.4mWeight: 39.2kgType: Normal/FlyingA Pokemon with two heads discovered in 1993. Probably a mutation. Its wings are short, and it is not good at flying in the sky (which it does not like anyway). Instead it can quickly suspend itself with its developed legs. In the near future, its wings may degenerate and become unable to fly. It is better at running, however. It is a quick runner, reaching speeds up to 100km/h. It can run past at breakneck speed while leaving behind giant footprints in the earth. In battle, it will use its beak to peck at its opponents, be it a single peck or a set of furious thrusts. The former is considered a Flying-type technique as opposed to the latter's Normal typing.
No.085 DodorioCategory: Triplet Bird PokemonHeight: 1.8mWeight: 85.2kgType: Normal/FlyingWhen a Dodo grows up, a third head grows between the two and it evolves into a Dodrio. Or it could be a variant when either head splits. Regardless, it is a rare, seldom-found species that runs through grasslands at a speed of 60km/h. There is also a historian’s testimony of a religion that prospered which used a Dodrio as its symbol. Its three heads represent the emotions of joy, sorrow and anger. With its three heads coming together to think, it can exercise advanced strategies. Even while it sleeps, one of them stays awake to keep watch. With three heads, it is capable of learning the rare technique known as “Tri Attack”. The heads form a triangular field of elemental energy (fire, ice, and electricity) and unleash it upon its opponents. While not professionally documented, some Trainers have sworn it could inflict burning, freezing or paralysis.
No.086 PauwauCategory: Sea Lion PokemonHeight: 1.1mWeight: 90.0kgType: WaterA Pokemon that lives in the cold sea, swimming comfortably at about 10°C below freezing. During the night, it rests in sea caves, but during the day it often floats along the sea. It is probably looking for food. When it grows up, it evolves into Dugong. It likes places cold enough to freeze and can stay active even in the cold of -40°C. Its skin is covered in light-blue fur, which is thick and strong. And on its head is a bulge or horn that is as hard as stone, which is said to break sea-drifting icebergs as it moves onward. It also helps add power to its “Desperate Tackle” technique, an all-or-nothing ramming attack that will hurt the user through recoil.
No.087 DugongCategory: Sea Lion PokemonHeight: 1.7mWeight: 120.0kgType: Water/IceWhen a Pauwau grows bigger, it becomes a Dugong. It inhabits cold seas where icebergs drift. Its whole body is covered in pure-white hair, like snow, and its subcutaneous fat reaches a whopping 30cm. It is resistant to the cold; if anything, the colder, the better. It vigorously swims at 8 knots even in these cold seas. It is constantly accumulating thermal energy in its body. Thus it can overcome the cold and swim around with a calm face. From its horn, it can unleash a spectacular “Aurora Beam” upon its opponents. This cold, rainbow blast is not as strong as its “Freezing Beam”, but it can lower its foe’s attack power.
No.088 BetobetahCategory: Sludge PokemonHeight: 0.9mWeight: 30.0kgType: PoisonBorn from solidified sludge that changed from exposure to lunar X-rays. It loves filthy things such as sludge and waste fluids and prefers to appear in messy places. It lives off of drinking sludgy sewerage spilt from factories. It smells and cannot be touched, and no grass will grow after it passes through. In the beginning of its discovery, it was few in number and haunted in vacant lots such as the back of factories. Then it reproduced and increased to a considerable number. Nowadays, it has become difficult to choose what place to appear. While it occurs in sewage treatment plants, it has recently been confirmed to be moving through sewers to haunt towns. It is capable of spewing a noxious poison gas to poison its opponents. And as a sludgy entity, it can control its body structure to shrink, harden, and even melt to change the tide of battle in its favor.
No.089 BetobetonCategory: Sludge PokemonHeight: 1.2mWeight: 30.0kgType: PoisonWhat is considered to be an evolution of Betobetah. A Pokemon whose whole body is covered in filthy sludge. It cannot be seen because it usually blends into the ground. And it is so smelly that it can induce fainting. It can’t smell, however, as its nose has degenerated. As a result of examining its cells, a substance that cannot be found in the body of living things was discovered. It can suddenly appear and spread sludge. And when it does, whole towns will panic. If you touch its dirty, sludge-clad body or even step on any left behind by its footprints, you will become sick after a while. You will even be affected by its deadly poison, so be careful. It can use this sludge in battle as well, hurling it for a chance to poison its opponents.
Sorry, could've sworn I put the image in
No.090 ShellderCategory: Bivalve PokemonHeight: 0.3mWeight: 4.0kgType: WaterIt is covered in a shell that is harder than diamond, with a defensive power to withstand and bounce off any attack. However, its inside is surprisingly soft. It becomes exposed when the shell opens, becoming weakened if it is attacked. It hides in sand on the seabed and feeds with its soft tongue. If it is about to be attacked from the outside, it will drive its opponent away by snipping at them with its two shells. It’s “Trap w/ Shell” attack is its specialty, in which constricts its opponents at the last minute. It will hold on for a while, and nobody will be able to attack until it lets go.
No.091 PalshenCategory: Bivalve PokemonHeight: 1.5mWeight: 132.5kgType: Water/IceSaid to be the evolved form of Shellder. However, in order to evolve into Palshen, a special stone is required. Its shell is extremely hard, moreso than diamonds. Napalm bombs are unable to break it. Nobody has yet to see the contents of its shell, its identity unknown. It only opens when it attacks.Numerous sharp thorns grow on the surface of this hard shell. They fly off its surface one after another as a counter to when it is attacked, making it quite formidable. It will also use this intense “Spine Cannon” in battle to continuously pierce its opponents.
No.092 GhosCategory: Gaseous PokemonHeight: 1.3mWeight: 0.1kgType: Ghost/PoisonA thin, gaseous lifeform. Its shape is ambiguous and gas-like. It is a mysterious Pokemon, and there are theories that it either originated from photochemical smog or is a hyperdimensional lifeform. The conclusion remains shelved. For the time being, study groups have adopted the former theory and classified it as a “Town Pokemon”.Because its appearance is virtually invisible, anyone can be unknowingly ravished by its enveloping gas and faint. Even an Indian elephant will collapse in two seconds. It seems to occur in old buildings nobody live in and will not come out if winds are strong. When it grows up, it evolves into Ghost. It is extremely difficult to deal damage to it because it has no physical form. Among its few Ghost-type techniques, it can use something called “Night Head.” The frightening mirage created to harm opponents is only as strong as its user and ignores type immunities.
No.093 GhostCategory: Gaseous PokemonHeight: 1.6mWeight: 0.1kgType: Ghost/PoisonThe evolved form of Ghos. It is an incorporeal Pokemon that can pass through any block. Rumor has it that because of this, it may or may not be a dweller of a different dimensional space. And because it is made of gas and hidden in the dark, its true form is quite incomprehensible and difficult to distinguish it from the landscape. If you stumble over nothing, hear a noise in an uninhabited place, or feel like you are being seen in the dark even though there is nobody around, there may be a Ghost there. Or so they say. It evolves into GangerIt is said to threaten even Trainers. It sucks out life when it licks with its tongue. The body is said to tremble and will not stop, eventually leading to death. In battle, this will paralyze its opponents. It can also learn “Dream Eat” and even “Psychokinesis” as well.
No.094 GangerCategory: Shadow PokemonHeight: 1.5mWeight: 40.5kgType: Ghost/PoisonFrom the skills it can learn to its physical characteristics, it seems to be an evolved form of Ghost. Nobody knows for certain. A Pokemon with mysterious powers. It appears to target people who are likely to be in distress in the mountains, where it may emerge from the dark to claim their life. Some mountains have shrines dedicated to it.Shadows that start to move and laugh on full-moon nights and Pokemon disappearing in the darkness must be the work of a Ganger. And if you feel a sudden chill, it is nearby. It just might cast a curse on you.It can be taught a multitude of different techniques to make it one very dangerous Pokemon. Among them is the power of mimicry. It will look at what other techniques its opponent can use and choose whichever one it wants to copy and use.
No.095 IwahkCategory: Rock Snake PokemonHeight: 8.8mWeight: 210.0kgType: Rock/GroundA Pokemon with an extremely long and hard body. Of all the species discovered, it has the It has the longest body of all Pokemon found so far (at 8.8m). As it grows, the rock composition of its body changes, becomes harder and like black diamond. It usually lives in soil. It searches for food at tremendous momentum, digging underground at 80km/h (the highest underground movement speed among Pokemon). Wherever it passes later becomes the habitat of Digda. Not limited to Iwahk, such Ground-type Pokemon are resistant to Poison-type attacks. On the other hand, it is vulnerable to Water-type attacks. Regardless of weaknesses, it will use its body to capture its opponents and tighten up to trap and hurt them. Escape is almost impossible.
No.096 SleepCategory: Hypnosis PokemonHeight: 1.0mWeight: 32.4kgType: EsperSaid to be a descendant of the legendary creature baku that eats dreams. It lives on eating the dreams of those it puts to sleep; eating too many or only bad ones will certainly spoil its stomach. Whenever you try to sleep together with it, there will be nights where it will sometimes show the dreams it ate long ago.An herbivorous and glutinous Pokemon. It has four stomachs, ruminating many times as it eats a meal. Its popularity with women is low because of its appearance. That and it has a habit of talking to itself. It is also famous as the first Pokemon to use the technique combination of “Hypnosis” (its specialty) and “Dream Eat”. It will put its opponents to sleep and recover from its injuries by eating their dreams (which is also very damaging).
No.097 SleeperCategory: Hypnosis PokemonHeight: 1.6mWeight: 75.6kgType: EsperWhen a Sleep grows up, it evolves into a Sleeper. It is herbivorous and has four stomachs, so it is a big eater. It seems to appear on low-traffic roads. And for some reason, children often go missing in cities where it appears. There was an incident in which a child was hypnotized and taken away somewhere. It carries around something like a pendulum. It is said to have control over a variety of supernatural powers, such as hypnosis, and will use them when its eyes meet its opponent’s, no matter who it is. It is dangerous if you don’t look away after inadvertently engaging it. The pendulum in its hand will put you to sleep. It is a good idea to close your eyes so it cannot hypnotize you.Along with hypnosis, its specialty is its “Psychokinesis” technique. A powerful burst of telekinetic force, it dampens an opponent's Special abilities. Many Esper-types can learn this, but some have to be taught.
No.098 CrabCategory: Freshwater Crab PokemonHeight: 0.4mWeight: 6.5kgType: WaterA Pokemon that lives on the coast or foreshore. Its two large pincers are a powerful weapon and also play an important role in balancing its body when walking sideways. When it grows up, the pincers will grow to a giant size and it will evolve into Kingler. When it comes to battle, it threatens its opponent with them, but it does not like fighting. In rare cases, they can get torn off when it attacks. But it has strong vitality. They will regenerate later, and once they do, they will become stronger than before. It can use them to snip at opponents, but they can also be used for other, more powerful techniques.
No.099 KinglerCategory: Pincer PokemonHeight: 1.3mWeight: 60.0kgType: WaterWhen a Crab evolves, it becomes a Kingler. In addition to living near the sea, it can also sometimes be found at the bottom of deep caves. It has two giant pincers, but only one of them is as hard as steel and has 10,000hp of superpower. These pincers are too big and heavy to wield, making it slow to move. If it uses this power, it can even pry open Shellder and Palshen shells. In battle, it can slam its heavier pincer down on its opponents and strike their weak points. They call this technique “Crab Hammer”.
No.100 BiriridamaCategory: Ball PokemonHeight: 0.5mWeight: 10.4kgType: ElectricAn unidentified creature with a reckless nature. Many of them mainly appear in places where electricity gathers, like in the vicinity of power plants. But it also sticks to the pantograph of trains and absorbs electricity. Recently, it has been in urban areas as well; this is probably because it is transmitted along things like electrical wires. It may make an unpleasant, buzzing sound. Due to its protective coloring, it resembles a Monster Ball. Many people mistake it for one and will go numb from touching it. It possesses Electric-type techniques, but it may suddenly, easily, and unsurprisingly self-destruct. This powerful explosion is a last-resort technique that costs all of its energy. When it grows up, it evolves into Marumine.
I'll post the rest either later tonight or tomorrow.
>>59694437Looking forward to it man, these are super cool
interested on how you'll handle hitmonchan's body since the og sprite conceals it and it doesn't really have the "dress"
>>59694752Lol you know, I took this into consideration. I didn't wanna do Blue's design, so I stuck with the concept of Red/Green and found a decent workaround. There were plenty of designs I had to do this with. Scyther and all his weirdness was one of them, too.
No.101 MarumineCategory: Ball PokemonHeight: 1.2mWeight: 66.6kgType: ElectricThe evolved form of Biriridama. It stores a tremendous amount of electon energy. In response to even the slightest stimuli, this energy will overflow and make it explode. Because of this, it has been known and feared by the nickname “Bomb Ball.” It is believed among researchers to be some form of energy and not have a body.It has a weight increase of nearly six times that of Biriridama. The power of its explosions is also much bigger. These great explosions are slightly more powerful than a normal self-destruction, and will expend all of its energy to use. Some Pokemon may be strong enough to survive such a dangerous technique.
No.102 TamatamaCategory: Egg PokemonHeight: 0.4mWeight: 2.5kgType: Grass/EsperIt looks like an egg, but recent research has shown that this creature is closer to a species of a real plant seed. Some argue that it is the same as the plant growing from the back of a Fushigidane, but this has not been clarified yet. Its detailed ecology is still unknown. When you find one and chase after it, its numbers increase before you know it. And if you touch it while thinking it is an egg, its friends will rapidly gather and unite for a mass attack. Each of these eggs are attracted and revolve around one another. It is in its nature to form a mass of groups. It is unstable unless there are six. When it grows up, it evolves into Nasshy. One of its signature techniques, shared with its evolved form, is “Ball Throw”. Each of the Tamatama will fling themselves at the opponent, sometimes hitting twice and sometimes five times. It is not the strongest technique, but the consecutive damage adds up.
No.103 NasshyCategory: Coconut PokemonHeight: 2.0mWeight: 120.0kgType: Grass/EsperWhen Tamatama grows a wooden body and legs, it becomes a Nasshy. It is called “The Walking Rainforest”. Each fruit has a separate face and each has their own different consciousness. And its cries are lively because the three heads are thinking about what they like.It is said that very rarely, if and when one of the heads falls to the ground, it becomes a Tamatama and starts moving. It can’t exactly learn any new techniques besides “Trample” at a certain level if it is evolved, but it can be taught the powerful “Egg Bomb”. As the name suggests, one of the heads is hurled at an opponent and will explode on impact. There is potential for it to learn this on its own.
No.104 KarakaraCategory: Loneliness PokemonHeight: 0.4mWeight: 6.5kgType: GroundIt always wears a bone helmet on its head, so nobody has seen its true face. This is actually the skull of its deceased mother. It is said to always cry loudly when it is lonely, especially on moonlit nights. Its cries echo within the skull and becomes a sad melody. They say it is named for the bone-rattling sound at that time, or when its head hits the inside of it. When it grows up, it evolves into a Garagara. In addition to its helmet, it also carries with it a normal bone like a club. It strikes with it in battle and can cause its opponents to flinch. It has not been determined if this also came from its mother or not.
No.105 GaragaraCategory: Bone Enthusiast PokemonHeight: 1.0mWeight: 45.0kgType: GroundWhen a Karakara grows up, it evolves into a Garagara. Originally a small-bodied and weak Pokemon. But when it began to skillfully use bones to fight, its personality became ferocious and violent. The bone in its hand is its precious weapon. Its swinging bone strike is pretty powerful. It can also learn the unusual technique “Bone Boomerang,” where it can throw it to hit its prey twice and stun them. Also powerful is the immeasurable impact of its headbutts, able to send someone flying over a bench.
No.106 SawamurahCategory: Kick PokemonHeight: 1.9mWeight: 49.8kgType: FightingSome call it the “Demon of Kicking”. Its prideful legs are elastic, able to freely stretch, contract, and kick, kick, kick its opponents all over. They can even kick them into the air even from far away. And they hit in an instant! The soles of its feet become hard like diamonds and destroy its opponents. They say that when it is running in a hurry, its legs will gradually lengthen for it to eventually move in amazingly large strides. Its fighting sense is outstanding as well, but when it is not, it has a surprisingly quiet personality.Being a master of kicking, Sawamurah is capable of performing techniques no other Pokemon can. There is its roundhouse kick (which can make its opponents flinch), dropkick (it jumps into the air and puts all its weight into a kick) and flying knee strike (similar to the dropkick, but stronger). The last two can unfortunately work against it, for if it misses, it will crash and hurt itself. When all else fails, it can unleash a devastating "Megaton Kick".As a small note to Carddass researchers, Sawamurah does not evolve into Ebiwarah. Training it to its limits, trading, usage of stones, or any other method will do absolutely nothing.
>>59694752No.107 EbiwarahCategory: Punch PokemonHeight: 1.4mWeight: 50.2kgType: FightingA boxer-type Pokemon that fights mainly with punches. It is possessed by the soul of a professional boxer. It specializes in invisible punches whose speed are faster than the Shinkansen. Even if it doesn't seem to be doing anything, its punching at an unseeable speed, so be careful. It moves around while taking a break every three minutes. Its habitat is unknown, but due to its lifestyle, it is classified as a “Grassland Pokemon”, similar to Sawamurah. Its punch attack is like a screw! It can whittle into concrete like a drill and eventually make a hole. It can wrap them in elemental energy to strike its opponents, as well as unleash a stream of continuous punches to bring whittle down its opponents. As a reminder, Ebiwarah does not evolve from Sawamurah. Some researchers who have not done proper research believe that when evolved, its punching power increased significantly over its kicking. This is not true whatsoever.
No.108 BerolingaCategory: Licking PokemonHeight: 1.2mWeight: 65.5kgType: NormalA strong, voracious appetite and lazy personality may have given birth to such a gluttonous Pokemon. It has a tongue that is twice its height, about 2.5m long. Like a chameleon, it can rapidly extend it, and it usually wraps it up and keeps it in its mouth.More dexterous than its front limbs, its tongue can completely move it like a hand to attack and grab food and prey. And it is mixed with a numbing fluid, so when it licks, you will end up shuddering and go numb. For some reason, some Berolinga do not use their licking in battle. But it can grab its opponents and slam them down hard.
No.109 DogasCategory: Poison Gas PokemonHeight: 0.6mWeight: 1.0kgType: PoisonA thin, balloon-like Pokemon. The first place it was said to be discovered was in a scientific weapons factory. Since then, it has propagated and increased in number, its habitat becoming widespread in recent years.Accumulated in its body is a lot of various, poisonous gases. It smells when it gets near, bad enough to cause a flood of tears. But because of these gases, it may sometimes cause a great explosion due to sudden stimuli. In hot places, there is a risk of the gases making its body swell and burst, so be careful. When it grows up, it evolves into Matadogas. It belches out a poisonous smog to choke out its opponents. The most dangerous technique it could be taught is called “Deadly Poison.” Developed about 400 years ago by ninjas, this Poison-type technique grows stronger over time, sapping an opponent’s strength far greater than any other possibly could.
No.110 MatadogasCategory: Poison Gas PokemonHeight: 1.2mWeight: 9.5kgType: PoisonAs it grows, a Dogas may evolve into a Matadogas and undergo a stage of mutation. Very rarely, a small, twin Dogas might emerge on the spot and be connected. If there is a place where the different components of two poisonous gases are present and accumulate for a long time like a snowdrift, there is a high chance this Pokemon will be born.It has been witnessed multiplying in places where industrial waste is left unattended. It lives by absorbing the poisonous gases and germs contained in garbage. Laboratories are currently developing a drug to eliminate the toxicity of Matadogas.Among its gaseous techniques, it can release a mysterious black haze. Whatever its components are, this cold mist has the power to eliminate certain status conditions, as well as return certain physical stats back to zero.
No.111 SaihornCategory: Thorny PokemonHeight: 1.0mWeight: 115.0kgType: Ground/RockA simple-minded Pokemon that can only think of one thing. Dimwitted but strong, it is able to blow away large trailers and crush even skyscrapers to pieces by ramming into them. Once it starts charging, it won’t stop until it goes to sleep. With its domineering power, powerful legs, durable bones that are 1,000 times stronger than humans, and a weight of over 100kg, it can produce some extraordinarily destructive power. It is not suitable as a pet. And when it grows up, it evolves into Saidon. In battle, it does not use the standard “Ram” technique weaker Pokemon use, but it can learn the much more powerful, yet risky “Rush”. And while it can also learn several elemental techniques, physical ones are best suited for its high attack power.
No.112 SaidonCategory: Drill PokemonHeight: 1.9mWeight: 120.0kgType: Ground/RockA Saihorn that had evolved to only stand on its hind legs. Bipedal walking promotes its brain development, increasing its intelligence. It is easier to raise, but its straightforward personality has not changed. Its whole body is protected in an armor-like hide. It is said that it can live in 2,000°C magma with a calm face. When it stabs with its horn, it will leave holes in even rocks. It attacks using its huge tail as well, possessing some great destructive power. Its deadliest technique, is its Horn Drill. It skewers its opponents with its spinning horn, instantly knocking them out. But it needs to be faster than them to pull this off.
No.113 LuckyCategory: Egg PokemonHeight: 1.1mWeight: 34.6kgType: NormalA Pokemon said to bring happiness to those who catch it. However, due to its extremely low population, it is rarely found. It has a very gentle personality and does not like fighting very much.It lays several, very delicious and nutritious eggs every day. It seems that the eggs will be more delicious if it is carefully raised. It will give them out when it sees something that has been damaged. For this reason, people would rather buy one of these instead of a chicken. It can be taught to lay these eggs in battle, where it can consume them to restore its health. Out of battle, it can transfer its energy into these eggs and give them to other members of a Trainer’s team. A unique and valuable technique.
No.114 MonjaraCategory: Vine-like PokemonHeight: 1.0mWeight: 35.0kgType: GrassA plant-based Pokemon. Its whole body is covered in many blue, seaweed-like vines. These vines are intertwined, making its true identity unseeable and incomprehensible. Many researchers have tried to cut off every vine to see its true form, but all have failed due to the Monjara’s forcible resistance. There has not been a single successful case. They are said to continuously grow.It is quite eerie seeing the vines sway and shake as it walks. Anything that approaches it will get entangled. In battle, they cannot hold down opponents like other ensnaring techniques, but it can slow them down.
No.115 GaroolaCategory: Parent & Child PokemonHeight: 2.2mWeight: 80.0kgType: NormalA usually docile Pokemon. But when under attack, it becomes violently angry and will face any opponent. Perhaps out of its motherly instinct to protect its child. This female raises its children in a pouch on their stomach for three years. The child will then separate from its parent once it is able to feed. Until then, it will hardly come out.The “Continuous Punch” is its specialty, and it can inherently learn the heavy-hitting “Megaton Punch”. As it grows stronger, it can eventually learn “Piyopiyo Punch” A rhythmic strike, it isn’t as strong as the second technique mentioned, but it is more accurate and can confuse opponents.
No.116 TattsuhCategory: Dragon PokemonHeight: 0.4mWeight: 8.0kgType: WaterA Pokemon that looks like a seahorse. With a tail curled like a royal fern, it can balance its body. Every spring, thousands of eggs are laid on seagrass, most of which are fed upon by Tosakinto. A rare Pokemon in that the males raise the children. If it feels any danger, it will spit out water or a special ink from its mouth. It is said to shoot down flying insects and prey by vigorously spitting ink from the water’s surface. Said ink can also help create a blinding smokescreen, which can dampen an opponent's accuracy.
No.117 SeadraCategory: Dragon PokemonHeight: 1.2mWeight: 25.0kgType: WaterWhen a Tattsuh grows a great deal of thorns on its body, it evolves into a Seadra. Because it quickly swims with both its wings and tail, it is capable of dexterous swimming, such as moving backward while facing forward. Living in the sea, it wraps its tail around coral when it goes to sleep so that it doesn’t get washed away. Its personality changes to a ferocious one when it evolves. If you try to carelessly touch it, you will get stabbed by the spines that grow all over its body and might faint from the pain. Touching its dorsal fin will make you go numb. For some reason, it is not labelled as a Poison-type, and cannot learn any technique of that type except for TM06.
No.118 TosakintoCategory: Goldfish PokemonHeight: 0.6mWeight: 15.0kgType: WaterA Pokemon with a beautiful tail fin. It is called the "Underwater Queen" because its tail fin is elegant and sways like a dress when it swims. Its dorsal and pectoral fins developed like muscles, letting it swim underwater at a speed of 5 knots. It is not very intelligent, and will inadvertently get into a Gyarados’s mouth, seemingly becoming its food as it is. But is is vigilant, so it will try to run away when it encounters a target. When it is time to lay eggs, you can see a school of Tosakinto climbing rivers and waterfalls. It evolves into Azumaou. It will mainly fight using the horn on its head, thrusting with varying degrees of power and lethality. It is still unknown as to how “Peck” can still be classified as a Flying-type technique despite Tosakinto being a marine Pokemon.
No.119 AzumaouCategory: Goldfish PokemonHeight: 1.3mWeight: 39.0kgType: WaterThe evolved form of Tosakinto. A Pokemon that normally lives in the sea, it can be seen in autumn swimming upstream in powerful rivers to spawn every year. In the meantime, it lives in its own nest. With its sharp, drill-like horn, it hollows out rock surfaces to build its own nest. It is the male’s role to hollow out the rocks at the bottom of a river with the horn on his head to create a nest. It uses its horn as a weapon, even when attacked by an enemy. But its “Waterfall Climb” technique, an upwards strike, is quite formidable. There is potential for Trainers to use this outside of battle.
No.120 HitodemanCategory: Pentagram PokemonHeight: 0.8mWeight: 34.5kgType: WaterA creature of many mysteries. Many of them appear on seashores at night, their centers flashing red. It glows even if a part of its body is cut. So long as its center remains, it can regenerate to its original state, no matter how finely cut it is. It is hermaphroditic, and its evolution into Starmy seems to have something to do with special "stones".Even in battle, it can use “Self-Recover” to heal its wounds. It is also capable of learning other unique techniques, such as “Wall of Light”. It can procure one out of thin air to reduce damage taken by Special techniques.
No.121 StarmyCategory: Mysterious PokemonHeight: 1.1mWeight: 80.0kgType: WaterIf you use a special stone on Hitodeman, it will evolve into Starmy. It is a Pokemon whose ecology has yet to be understood. There has been no progression in Starmy’s research. It was added as a member of the “Waterfront Pokemon” since it is sometimes encountered by the sea. However, it is locally suspected to be an extraterrestrial creature due to its geometric body.It is said that the central part of its body, referred to as its core, glows suspiciously in seven, beautiful colors when nobody is looking. Perhaps it does this because it is telecommunicating. Some people say this is a jewel, and many want it as a gemstone. It is said that it may be reborn through a mysterious power. While having evolved through a stone, it cannot inherently learn anything new and must be taught via TMs. It can still use the techniques it can learn as a Hitodeman. One of them is called “Speed Star.” It fires a brilliant ray of stars that will always hit its target. Many Pokemon can be taught this.
No.122 BarrierdCategory: Barrier PokemonHeight: 1.3mWeight: 54.5kgType: EsperA Pokemon that loves to pantomime. That is its specialty, and is always practicing it. It is good at convincing people that even if something does not exist, it is right there. It is said that if you disturb its pantomiming, it will get angry, and you will suddenly get a round-trip slap from its big palms. It is also said that walls made from its pantomiming will really appear. The tips of its fingers are suction pads, which it seems use to climb the walls it makes itself. Because there have been few cases of its discovery, there has been no progress in researching it. Its ecosystem is still a part of its many mysteries.Masterful in advanced techniques such as “Willpower”, “Wall of Light” (in which it creates one to reduce the damage taken by Special techniques), “Yoga Pose”, and “Scapegoat”. The last technique is interesting, as the user pours a quarter of their strength into a decoy that can take its opponent’s attacks. Of course, it will break after taking enough damage.
No.123 StrikeCategory: Praying Mantis PokemonHeight: 1.5mWeight: 56.0kgType: Bug/FlyingA very rare Pokemon. It lives in grasslands, but because it is very small in number, it is rarely found and there are few cases of its capture. It moves with tremendous speed, cutting through opponents and choking the life out of them with its sharp sickles. In rare cases, it may fly with its wings. The appearance of it suddenly jumping out of thickets and tearing through with sharp sickles is like that of a ninja. When it moves at an unstoppable swiftness to even see, it sometimes looks as if its body is split apart into many of itself. Actual ninja refer to this as "Kage Bunshin", the shadow offshoot. By creating these illusions, it is able to make itself more evasive.
No.124 RougelaCategory: Humanoid PokemonHeight: 1.4mWeight: 40.6kgType: Ice/EsperA Pokemon that looks a lot like a human being. It even speaks in a human-like language. However, it is unknown as to what it is saying, as it uses mysterious words that make no sense. This is currently being researched. If you try to take the cloth-like article attached to its hips, it will fly into a fit on the spot like a raging fire; it turns out that it possesses shame. It is characterized by its eerie hip swaying, which it does as it walks. It seems to have a unique rhythm, too, as it moves lightly as though dancing. It is said that if you are not careful while together with it, you will be involuntarily enticed and start to dance. A very rare Pokemon whose habitat is still a mystery. It can attack with slaps, licking, and even strike with its “Freezing Punch to encase opponents in ice. But its most signature technique is its “Devil’s Kiss”. It will try to kiss its opponent to put them to sleep. However, all it does is put on a face so frightening that they simply pass out.
No.125 ElebooCategory: Blitz PokemonHeight: 1.1mWeight: 30.0kgType: ElectricA Pokemon that, like Strike, is very difficult to capture. And just like Strike, it has the ability to distinguish colors. They have a habit of particularly preferring red. It appears in places like large power plants in search for electricity. Strong electricity is its favorite. It is said that major power outages occur in cities when it disappears from a power plant’s vicinity. When this happens, it must have eaten the electricity from there. It stores a large amount of it in its body.Eleboo specializes in attacks using electric shocks. If it isn’t unleashing powerful thunderbolts, it is charging up its large arms to deliver a brutal lightning punch to its opponents. Both have the power to paralyze.
No.126 BooberCategory: Fire-Blowing PokemonHeight: 1.3mWeight: 44.5kgType: FlameA Pokemon whose burning body is clad in orange flames. Its body temperature is as high as 1,200°C, making it indistinguishable from a fireball or any flames it hides within. It is born within and found near the crater of volcanoes. Due to its small population, it is a very hard-to-find Pokemon with few cases of capture. It exhales flames from its mouth. It can also belch out different forms of gas to blind or poison its opponents. And in close proximity, it can deliver a flaming punch, which may end up burning them.
No.127 KailiosCategory: Stag Beetle PokemonHeight: 1.5mWeight: 55.0kgType: BugA rare and unusual Pokemon with a very small population and is extremely difficult to find. There have been few reports about it. It lives in warm places because it can’t move when it gets cold. And it also seems to prefer the color green. It is a combat-oriented Pokemon that can freely control the two, long and powerful horns on its head in battle. These are its greatest weapons. It also possesses an outstanding athletic ability. Kailios will pinch its opponents at full-throttle power, trapping them there and not letting go until they are torn to shreds. But if they cannot do this, especially if its opponent has a hard body, it will swing them around while trapped and throw them away. Its “Pincer Guillotine” is its most powerful technique that can crush and knock out opponents in one blow. However, a Kailios needs to be quicker than its opponent in order to properly execute this dangerous technique. It should only be used if a Trainer is confident enough to finish a battle quickly.
No.128 KentaurosCategory: Restive Bull PokemonHeight: 1.4mWeight: 88.4kgType: NormalA Pokemon sighted within the Safari Zone. It is always upset and rampages at full stamina. When it aims for its prey and starts running, it solely pushes on forever until it rams something. It cannot advance anywhere except straight forward. However, it will not attack unless you launch an attack in its directionWhenever it rams about, it hits its own large body with the smacking of its three tail. By making itself motivated, it is capable of demonstrating some tremendous rushing power. Of course, this has the setback of hurting itself from the impact. And with its “Fury” attack and high strength, Kentauros is a very terrifying Pokemon to face.
No.129 KoikingCategory: Fish PokemonHeight: 0.9mWeight: 10.0kgType: WaterFrom seas and rivers to ponds and puddles, this Pokemon swims just about anywhere. It is famous because of its unreliability. It seems that, long ago, it used to be a little stronger. But now, its power and speed are almost useless. Its name may sound strong, but it is the weakest and most pathetic Pokemon in the world. However, the latest research has revealed some interesting facts. Dragon cells were detected within Koiking’s body. If you patiently let it grow, it will seemingly evolve into Gyarados, a stronger Pokemon. Expectations are high for future research. No matter what Pokemon the opponent is, no matter how terrifying the technique it witnesses, it just bounces at whatever it faces. It will “Bounce” as soon as anything happens. It does absolutely nothing. It can eventually learn to “Ram”, but it hardly has any power to back it up.
No.130 GyaradosCategory: Atrocious PokemonHeight: 6.5mWeight: 235.0kgType: Water/FlyingIf you grow Koiking patiently, it evolves into Gyarados. It seems to live deep in the bottom of the sea and is rarely found. Its last initial discovery was thirty-five years ago in 1961 when its corpse had been washed up on the beach. However, it has finally appeared in shallow water.Unlike before its evolution, Gyarados has an extremely ferocious and destructive personality. When it gets angry, it rampages with accurate and tremendous power, and it is said that there were times when large cities got destroyed. An omnivore, its fangs can also chew up rocks. Its scales are as hard as steel, and jewelry such as rings made from them is surprisingly expensive. This horrifying Pokemon has a record of scorching towns long ago. It does this by emitting a destructive beam from its mouth. The power behind this energy blast has the potential to instantly defeat weak Pokemon. However, it needs a moment to recharge before it can use it again. Only the strongest Pokemon can handle using this incredible technique.
No.131 LaplaceCategory: Transport PokemonHeight: 2.5mWeight: 220.0kgType: Water/IceA gentle Pokemon that lives out at sea. It has a high intelligence to understand human language and likes to put people on its back and swim them across the sea. However, due to being caught in large numbers, it is critically endangered and on the verge of extinction. Few examples of its discovery have been made, and there has not been much progress researching it. It can learn various techniques such as “White Mist”, “Suspicious Light”, and “Hydro Pump”. But of course, its specialty is “Surfing”. It can unleash a strong, giant tidal wave to wash away its opponents. Many different Pokemon can be taught this, no matter how big or small they may be. Some claim that the turtle upon which Urashima Tarou was riding was a Laplace.
No.132 MetamonCategory: Transformation PokemonHeight: 0.3mWeight: 4.0kgType: NormalAn amoeba-like Pokemon. It has the ability to instantly copy cell tissue, rearrange their formation and transform itself into something that looks exactly like its opponents and other lifeforms. The moment it sees an opponent, its body melts and starts to change. Usually its shape is undecided. Metamon can be said to be one of the most confusing Pokemon to understand. Various researchers have been studying it, but its true nature is still unknown. It can hardly learn any techniques. All it really can do is transform in battle. But when it does, it can borrow its opponents techniques and use them. Unfortunately, it can only do so very sparingly.
No.133 EeveeCategory: Evolution PokemonHeight: 0.3mWeight: 6.5kgType: NormalA special Pokemon whose population is extremely small, making it difficult to catch. Due to very few cases of its capture, it is difficult to classify, though it has been registered as a “Grassland Pokemon” for its lifestyle. It has irregular and unbalanced genes, which give it a lot of evolutionary potential. When bathed in radiation possessed by special stones, its body will undergo mutations and change appearance. So far there is potential to evolve into three different types of Pokemon.Unlike certain other Normal-types, it cannot learn or be taught anything besides Normal-type moves (with some minor exceptions). It is not until it evolves that it can learn Special techniques. Until then, it will have to make do with the likes of “Rush”, “Lightning Speed,” and even “Wag a Tail” in battle.
No.134 ShowersCategory: Bubble-Spitting PokemonHeight: 1.0mWeight: 29.0kgType: WaterThe evolved form of Eevee when a Water Stone is used. It lives quietly by the water’s edge. Some people mistake it for a mermaid due to the presence of its fish-like fins, especially on its tail. The cellular structure of its body resembles water molecules. It disappears and becomes invisible when it dissolves into water. In battle, this technique sharply raises its own defense. It can also learn “Surfing”, with which it can voluntarily move and swim in water. It also seems that it can freely control water to create huge whirlpools.
No.135 ThundersCategory: Lightning PokemonHeight: 0.8mWeight: 24.5kgType: ElectricThe evolved form of Eevee when a Thunder Stone is used. By absorbing negative ions in the air, it can quickly expel 10,000 volts of electricity. Just the slightest stimulus makes it cry or get angry. It is a scary Pokemon when this happens. Its weapons are its 10,000-volt electric shocks and its hair. If it gets angry or surprised, the fur on its whole body will stand on end and pierce its opponent like needles. Moreover, it accumulates electricity every time its emotions change and may carry out pranks with it.It can learn a line of Electric-type techniques such as “Thunderbolt”, “100,000 Volts” and “Electromagnetic Wave”. Its hair standing on end can also be used as the notorious “Needle Missile”. It will shoot its needle-like hairs at its opponents consecutively. An interesting Bug-type technique that can take Esper-types off guard.
No.136 BoosterCategory: Flame PokemonHeight: 0.9mWeight: 25.0kgType: FlameThe evolved form of Eevee when a Flame Stone is used. All three, aforementioned evolved forms of Eevee seem to be related to “stones”. It is very dangerous because its body temperature rises above 900°C when flames accumulate in its body. Nothing can touch it then, especially once it starts getting angry. There is a flame pouch in its body. After inhaling deeply, it exhales flames at 1,700°C. Its Flame-type techniques range from shooting sparks to creating flaming vortexes. It is encouraged to teach it a stronger technique like "Daimonji" as soon as possible.
No.137 PolygonCategory: CG PokemonHeight: 0.8mWeight: 36.5kgType: NormalIn 1995, the Sylph Company, which conducts R&D on Pokemon and their goods, used the best scientific power to finally successfully create this artificial Pokemon. Its body is made up of a program, giving it the ability to move freely in electronic space such as within computers. It is expected to be the only Pokemon that can fly into space, but there are still no successful cases. It is a very rare Pokemon; however, for some reason, it is now being traded at slot prize exchanges. The number of adults heading to the slots day and night to attain a Polygon is rapidly increasing. A government investigation is currently underway, the earliest possible elucidation being expected. In battle, it has two unique techniques to aid it. “Angulate” reduces its polygonal count in exchange for increasing its attack power. And “Texture” changes its body to match the type of its opponent.
No.138 OmniteCategory: Spiral PokemonHeight: 0.4mWeight: 7.5kgType: Rock/WaterA now-extinct Pokemon that lived in the ancient sea long ago. However, it is possible to obtain it by restoring a rare “Seashell Fossil” and bringing it back to life at the Pokemon Research Institute. An intermediate creature between shellfish and squid. It swam by skillfully twisting and wriggling its ten legs and used to feed on plankton and small fish. In battle, it is capable of a few Water-type attacks. For some reason, it can learn “Thrust w/ Horn” and “Spine Cannon” despite having no sharp protrusions on its shell.
No.139 OmstarCategory: Spiral PokemonHeight: 1.0mWeight: 35.0kgType: Rock/WaterConsidered to be the evolved form of a grown-up Omnite. Its tentacles are developed like limbs. If it clings to you, it will bite with its sharp fangs at the same time. Its body length is as large as one meter, and it is able to feed on fish of about 50cm. However, it moves slowly due to its shell being too big. It may be because of this that it could hardly catch any food, leading to its extinction. Its limbs are not strong enough to use ensnaring techniques, but they do allow it to be taught certain Fighting-type ones. And now that it has spines on its shell, it makes more sense that it can learn to shoot them at its opponents.

No.140 KabutoCategory: Carapace PokemonHeight: 0.5mWeight: 11.5kgType: Rock/WaterA Pokemon revived from the fossil of an ancient creature. A long time ago, this fossil was discovered and restored from the stratum that was once the ancient sea. Just the other day, it was found within a mountain cave at an altitude of 1,000m above sea level. It turned out that the area was once submerged in the ocean. One can obtain one by bringing a “Carapace Fossil” to the Pokemon Research Institute. It is said to be the ancestor of horseshoe crabs and turtles. It is protected by a hard shell, and cannot get up if it is turned over. This aquatic Pokemon lived in the water and hid itself in the seabed, looking around with the eyes on its back. It also wasn’t very fast, but it should have been able to swim well.It dislikes fighting, but if it has to, it can use its claws to scratch and tear its opponents up. Surprisingly it can also use “Absorb” as well, despite it being a Grass-type technique.
No.141 KabutopsCategory: Carapace PokemonHeight: 1.3mWeight: 40.5kgType: Rock/WaterIt is considered to be the evolved form of Kabuto. Only one of its fossils was discovered in 1990. It is considered to be the oldest Pokemon in the world because its stratum was about 2 million years old. After evolving, its personality completely changes and becomes belligerent, the relation between Kabuto and Kabuto now almost like that of “Gizmo” and the “Gremlins”. It swims freely in the water at high speeds with its thin body. And with its sharp sickles, it catches its prey, tears them apart and completely sucks out their bodily fluids. Perhaps it is through this method that it and Kabuto can use “Absorb” in battle.
No.142 PteraCategory: Fossil PokemonHeight: 1.8mWeight: 59.0kgType: Rock/FlyingThe ancestor of birds. This ferocious, ancient Pokemon was revived at the Pokemon Research Institute from dinosaur genes studied and taken out from amber. It is 1.8m long and the skeleton of its head shows that its brain was relatively large too.It flies with large wings while screaming in a high voice. Biologists say that it used its roar to communicate with its comrades. It has hard, saw-shaped fangs to bite through its opponents throats, and it uses its large claws to catch small animals to eat. It is no doubt a carnivore, inferred from some fossilized droppings found a few days ago.If it cannot bite or disorient opponents with ultrasonic waves, it will slap them with its wings. It is also one of the few Pokemon to naturally learn “Destructive Beam”. It takes a very determined Trainer to tame a Ptera.
No.143 KabigonCategory: Dozing PokemonHeight: 2.1mWeight: 460.0kgType: NormalA simply lazy Pokemon that eats and sleeps all the time. It is the heaviest Pokemon found (at 460kg) due in part to its nonstop eating. It usually lives in the mountains, but sometimes comes down to the city. It is said to have gotten the name “Kabigon” because it is a glutton and will even eat mold-covered food without worry. It would never get an upset stomach. It feels it inexcusable if it does not eat 400kg of food a day. It is awake only when it eats. Once it finishes, it falls back asleep. This is why it grows increasingly fatter and lazier.A very powerful Normal-type that can uses its heavy body to weigh itself on opponents or drive into them with a headbutt. If it goes to sleep in the middle of battle, it can restore some of its own lost strength. Other Pokemon can be taught this technique. It is best for Trainers to make sure they have something to wake them up immediately.
No.144 FreezerCategory: Freezing PokemonHeight: 1.5mWeight: 55.4kgType: Ice/FlyingThe legendary Freezing Pokemon, one of the three legendary birds and the top of its element: ice. Its appearance of its long, trailing tail and impressively long wings is wonderful. There is a rather scary legend about it flying over snowy mountains. It will appear to those lost in them. Any one of them who sees this Pokemon will be fascinated by its beauty and freeze to death. It can freeze the water contained in the air of winter skies, turning it into snow. This snow can be whipped around into a devastating snowstorm, a powerful Ice-type technique that can chill its opponents so harshly that they may freeze. This can be taught to other Pokemon as well, including non-Ice-types.
No.145 ThunderCategory: Blitz PokemonHeight: 1.6mWeight: 52.6kgType: Electric/FlyingOne of the three legendary bird Pokemon and the top of its element: lightning. It is revered by people as a divine Pokemon that governs the skies. It spends thousands of years living amongst the clouds. It will appear over the horizon of darkening clouds in a huge flash of lightning. Its flight creates something of a crackling, popping sound. From there, it continuously drops huge lightning bolts. It will even unleash them in battle, though they may not hit their mark all the time. Perhaps lightning is the wrath of Thunder?
No.146 FireCategory: Blaze PokemonHeight: 2.0mWeight: 60.0kgType: Flame/FlyingOne of the three legendary bird Pokemon and the top of its element: fire. It has long been known as the phoenix of legend since ancient times. They say the famous phoenix, who can make one immortal by drinking its life blood, is modeled after Fire. If it truly exists, her orange, fiery wings would overwhelm those who see it.Every time it flaps its wings, they gush with beautiful flames and burn bright and red. They burn so violently that even the night sky turns red. When it stores up energy, it can unleash it in a powerful aerial strike known as “God Bird”. While Fire can learn it naturally, it can be taught to other avian Pokemon.
No.147 MiniryuuCategory: Dragon PokemonHeight: 1.8mWeight: 3.3kgType: DragonFor a long time, it had been called a “Phantom Pokemon” due to its small numbers. But a recent accidental discovery has confirmed its magnificence. A guest at the Safari Zone caught one living slightly underwater in a pond, making him an overnight man-of-the-hour News spread across the world. From this discovery, many people believed that legendary Pokemon were “completely real”, and a Pokemon exploration boom occurred.A Miniryuu, even as a child, is over 2m tall. It grows larger by repeatedly molting. It doesn’t learn much on its own, only only being able to entangle its enemies and using electromagnetic waves to paralyze opponents. Teaching different TMs is the most optimal option when raising this Pokemon.
No.148 HakuryuhCategory: Dragon PokemonHeight: 4.0mWeight: 16.5kgType: DragonWhen a Miniryuu grows up, it evolves into Hakuryuh. It is said to live in seas, lakes, and the like. While it has no wings, its figure has sometimes been seen flying in the sky.It seems to be a sacred creature wrapped in a mystical aura, according to stories from people who witnessed it. It is also said to possess mysterious powers of legendary Pokemon. It is great enough to change the weather, able to freely send down rain and snow. Opponents best beware when it unleashes thunderbolts and whips up snowstorms.
No.149 KairyuhCategory: Dragon PokemonHeight: 2.2mWeight: 210.0kgType: Dragon/FlyingWhen Hakuryuh evolves, it becomes Kairyuh. It has been handed down as a deity of the sea. Some say it is the incarnation of a “God of Destruction. Although few have seen it, it does exist. Its intellect seems comparable to humans. It weighs over 200kg, but even with its large physique, it can fly freely in the sky with its two wings. It is said to fly and move around the wide ocean it lives somewhere in, but this is just a rumor. It can also go around the world once in about 16 hours. When it comes to its speed flying in the sky, this Pokemon is number one.Its title is no exaggeration, as it is incredibly powerful. Not only can it unleash a “Destructive Beam”, but it can learn to use “Dragon’s Fury”. It blasts opponents with a shockwave of furious, draconic energy, ignoring typing and dealing a large, set amount of damage every time. Other Pokemon, even some non-dragon-like species, can be taught this.
