What a shame that these beautiful works of art have become a vehicle for the most annoying people on earth to "invest"

Perhaps not the most visually stimulating card art ever, but its legacy certainly qualifies as kino. Holon Transceiver empowered the "Holon Engine", a trainer engine so powerful POP issued a non-apology apology and rotated out the entire set it came from early, because of the price it ended up demanding. To avoid similar incidents in the future, the game began to offer reprints of other unassuming cards that were competitively important as easily obtainable promos for tournament players (e.g Claydol GE, Azelf LA).

kek nerrrrrdddd

I managed to get one half of this from the 30th Celebration. Hopefully I'll get the other half eventually. It'd be neat since I always wanted one of these LEGEND cards as a kid.

The reason why this is kino? It's done by the same artist who did the character designs for Evangelion.

>>59692869
You'll like the fact that >>59684350 >>59684352 and every other LEGEND card was illustrated by literally Shinji
The Darkrai & Cresselia was co-illustrated with his wife too

>>59684352
I have the top half of this card only. Makes it a lot less cool.

I find the idea that Walking Wake would climb trees strange

If Pokemon had good world building, a simple fisherman, even if he's accustomed to seeing dangerous Pokemon like Sharpedo or Golisopod, would be scared and shitless of seeing Lugia. It's like encountering a lion or bear in the wild.
That's why this pic is the best for me. It gets that feeling right, and the colours are amazing. You also don't know if his ship would be able to endure Lugia's presence or if Lugia is helping him to endure the storm.
Why did edge kino have to die? :(

Prehistoric trees' branches were around a metre wide. I also don't know what the author was going for. Walking Wake is one of the most massive paradox Pokémon, maybe it is the same as jaguars. Climbing trees is just another tool for him.

Lugia is such a cool mon. Too powerful to control its own wing flaps, it has to rest at the bottom of the sea. Lorewise other mons are supposed to be more powerful, but very few evoke the same raw image of "power"
