I found these really nice card cases that are a step up from toploaders but not as expensive as magnet loaders. They're super clear and a really nice in-between. The best thing is that they're cheaper than toploaders too lol.

My Mexican coworker showed me a third party app that lets you open virtual packs for real money. You get a single card in each pack. It instantly gives you the value of the card and gives you the option to sell it. From the way he described it, they will send out the physical card to you after you buy it. Some were PSA graded with the certification number visible. I hate that everything is about the value now.

I was at a show last month and some guy took up an entire vendor table with a bunch of slab boxes trying to make a big cash deal, really annoying when you just want to look at the cards.

Forgot to say I think I was stood next to a scammer at one of the tables at a card show yesterday. He was trying to sell a card, claiming it WILL BE A 10, then another customer said why not get it graded yourself, then I heard him tell that person that he's cut the corners himself.Mental stuff.

>>59682935I’d go to a few hobby stores and ask if they can look at your cards, give you estimates and grading advice. Don‘t just go to one, because they’ll SMELL your inexperience and some may try to take advantage so you’ll probably need to shop around.

I have a couple pages with art inserts that started out so well until my shitty office paper shredder started mangling the thick matte card stock because the blade went blunt and now the inserts shed little white specks.
