Can a poor fisherman get an invite? Waiting outside of Battleon but our guild rep is afk. I am a bit tired of getting random guild invites.

I feel like the constant references can often be jarring, because they're all from different times when that reference was popular/made sense. So I'd go from a Charlie Sheen "WINNING" reference to whipping and nae nae, to dabbing, to Dubai Chocolate, to Moist Critikal. It's all over the place.

I like that we're playing a game/server with a population again. I think its fun to see people doing stuff and overhear conversations. Makes the game more energetic and alive. In some of the past couple of MMOs we've been on some empty ass servers and its made it a kind of lonely experience.

this game might have the least engaging dungeons I've seen in an MMO

Every time I play an Artix game I forget how insanely brutal the grind is. That's definitely the interesting part of the game, though, the fact that you can just sit there killing 10k of the same mob for an achievement. The main story progresses you way faster but it's just a bog-standard MMO MSQ. It's not as interesting (in terms of novelty) as spending 100 hours killing beef in the basement of a burger joint.

100 inventory slots is generous for an MMO but you're bombarded constantly with trash gear and every quest gives cosmetic stuff you'd want to keep
having a list instead of a grid and the preview window taking 5 seconds to open makes clearing out bags a headache

Rift had a nice system where every piece of gear you collect unlocks the cosmetic forever, you could sell off any gear you're not using and still use its appearance
