P1 is set in the 90s. Which is a long time ago, relatively speaking. It is before cell phones, before the internet (for most people at least). Although it is giving away my age a bit P1P felt, even more than P2 IS which had a lot of these same characteristics, distinctly before my time. Tatsuya, Lisa, and Eikichi are peers to me, but Piercy, Maki, Nanjo, etc feel distinctly older. It will be interesting to see how it turns out.
