Played the new 2.5 missions.The night city tour one sucked ass. A bit of neat lore I guess but nothing actually interesting, just stereotypical megacorp capitalism yada yada which is fine since that's the setting but it's not new enough to justify it being the only real draw for going across the entire mapYou do all that and then you fight 3 militech goons and it's over. Why the fuck have none of the updates for this game added third person. The melee animations are so fucking bad in first person and photo mode shows they've atleast somewhat already got the animations for third person ready, ignoring enemy npc's using some of the shit you have. Why even have all these clothes options and a character created if I never even see them. I can't even use mods to force third person in, the ps5 version doesn't have that mod yet and probably never will.

They're worse than katanas in pretty much every situation because their recovery frames butcher their DPS and they don't benefit from Microrotors because they go above the attack speed limit of Microrotors (while actually being slower than Katana due to katana smoother animation). The one thing they do better than Katana is the mobility, but it's often overkill anyway because Katana still get more than enough mobility with Flash and Thunderclap (or the iconic equivalent). However the game is easy even on very hard, blades is one of the best build in the game, and you'll shred everything regardless even if they're not technically optimal, so go nuts.
I didn't realize that bullet defect meant enemies would just throw their life away when you stand in front of them holding block. I always assumed you had to time it or something.
