Then it became around 45m to 1 hour which was the standard until chapter 40 which then become around 2 hours long. Then the anis idol arc was shoehorned into the story and the included chapters were about 2.5 to 3 hours long, which was a RECORD. If you don't think chapter 50 was bloated... I think you are doomed to suck egghood's dick for the rest of your life. There was legit just a scene where Nayuta just talks for 10 minutes about her plan, literally just her CG in the same position talking to you the audiene. Every fight was BS so it needed a huge amount of exposition to explain what happened cause it wouldn't make any sense other wise. So many scenes and fights were so unnecessary. The queen's tower form was the epitome of contrived ass pulls explanation logic. It just felt like they wanted to stuff as much possible because... more... is better? This was worse than OG dbz anime fights in extensions... 6.5 hours for a chapter is the equivaent of 16.25 episodes of anime. There was literally a scene that took 50 minutes long... and it wasn't even the finale fight... Nikke is a text based game too it's not like there fancy animations slowing the game down. There are visual novels shorter than chapter 50. It was just the statue pulling out non stop asspull powers then a 1-2 hour boxing match between the queen and like 6 people.

You know what's funny? You know that Rapunzel scene from the previously released chapter where Rapunzel repels Red Shoes. I personally at the time thought it was extremely forced and contrived but I did think it would have impact in the future of the story. But chapter 49-50 literally proved it to basically to be only a superficial "epic" scene just to make Rapunzel look cool. Her cure for corruption? Never brought up again even though Doro and Nayuta were both corrupted. Red Shoes? She came back in the beginning of the next chapter. If Rapunzel's "cool" scene didn't happen... the story would not change at all, not even superficially. As new events and campaigns are released, I feel like my thoughts of writer's priority of "think of cool scene first and building around that scene, even if it makes no sense or has negative/contridictory impact on the story", get more and more closer to be proven as nikke releases more content. Cause I always feel like in the end, most nikke players don't care about the story, they only care about the cool/sad scene.
