A built wAsherah does half the damage of most DPS and she's way above the tank and pure healers.
She's powercrept more by Prof M overlapping followups than another healer.

Still less accumulated damage than running wAsherah, since mCeres's high speed causes her to eat a lot of turns doing literally no damage.
Also break is important and wAsherah is still the best way to break purple fights.

Case in point: last cosmo gate everyone was running wCarmen on the dragon, then a couple days later EVERYONE dropped her for Seira. Why? Because running a healer is a disservice if they don't do damage since you'll fail to kill the boss.
Even people running wCarmen had her with a pure crit rate EX5 build. Cosmo gate has been 4 DPS or 3 DPS 1 Tank for a while now.
mCeres is never being used in actual hard content unless the healing is required to survive, such as void harmonizer.
The ATK buff would need to be Seira tier teamwide for her to be worth bringing, else they'll just get bchar instead.

You should grab a cosmic since they normally have half rates.
For frontliners, you can grab WAsh, who kind of wants dupes, or Lacy, who is difficult to gear.
Luna is actually a pretty great pick. She's the only character that can AOE on every attack, which counters a pretty annoying boss. And she has a personal Arcana that kind of doubles her damage.

The whales from gookland had no problems with it since they're 400+
Everyone else got fucked since the -50% hp makes surviving the 1v1 phase near impossible for your DPS without wCarmen, and even then the soaked damage almost kills wCarmen as well so you need to bring more healers, making it even tighter.
It's just absolutely fucked and it never should've got the -50% hp modifier.
All the people sub 400 are being forced to use maid Lydia for her 15% permanent buff to have a CHANCE at getting through the shield, and Lydia herself is awful on the fight doing no break damage and her AoE isn't even required.
The current strat for global players is to cheese it with the speed comp and pushback...goes to show how well designed it is.

I'm not high enough where Haydee does enough dmg and if you break the boss too quickly after the shield phase smile won't get her ult off, since you basically have to break him right before his turn to push him back far enough to be behind smile with her ult off cd.
The start is finicky because smile needs to hit the 2 adds for her first stack or it's bricked, and bchar needs enough speed to get 2 turns before his shield or the boss won't break. Running 3 dps is wonky because if the boss hits one twice they'll die and it's a reset. Swapping Haydee with a red DPS breaks the boss too soon post shield phase, and if the DPS you swap in does too much dmg Smile won't get her turn and get her 2 stacks before the boss arrives (she won't get moved up from her special and wont get her ult off).
Then bchar needs to basically crit every single attack in the shield phase too.
I'm giving it 1 more hour then I'll go do my lvl 10 clear, fuck this boss seriously

I did it with clarissa as 3rd(198 speed), the boss only hits you once before first 1v1 and once after it comes back from break, and during that you'll have wcarmen doing a s1 heal so it shouldn't be dying. the 2 sub dps are at front because you don't want to trigger bchar shield before 1v1. you don't need smile to do 2 hits during adds, clarrisa will s2->s3 the boss to break and smile can s3 without using enhanced. both smile and bchar are around 166 speed, obviously with kyra arcana for speed stacks.

I've tried Clarissa a lot but when I run a green DPS without additional break generation like her, bchar gets cucked out of a second turn with 167 speed and only gets her first turn vs the boss's opener.
My log looks like this:
>wcarmen basic -> clarissa basic (1 add dies) -> bchar basic -> smile basic (2 add dies) -> bchar skill into double basic plus ssmile skills and moves up -> burst ssmile basic (4 stacks) -> carmen basic with smile skill -> clarisssa ult with smile skill -> smile ult (boss has 1 break left) -> boss gets turn because he's 4% above bchar even though he started out below her.

Running a tank or red DPS does not have this problem and I don't know where I can find another 3 break pts to burst smile's ult.
Even if I used clarissa's skill on the adds over her basic at the start I'd still only be 3/4 needed.
This is where defenders work better because of the break pts they generate. I have tried Seira which does indeed get me to p3, but she doesn't have the DPS to kill the boss though attempts with her are my closest to killing him.
Honestly I think my bchar is just not strong enough, she's MLB+5 and 160 CD/85% crit rate.
In the video she kills the barrier while boss has 1 turn CD left on his AOE ult, and for me even if I crit every hit there is always a slither of shield left and I need one extra turn to finish his barrier off, putting the boss's AOE ult off cooldown.

I tried for an hour and decided to just skip a 3rd run and go to sleep.

Also just to add your bchar is stronger than mine too and I always have to take the extra turn to break the shield, that's why I had to put in clarissa for more damage instead of a tank because even if I can line up for 2 breaks I can't kill the boss and he has 10% hp left and takes me to 2nd 1v1.

Your clarissa needs to be faster, I'm sure mine did both s2 and s3 before the boss moved. That way you burst the basic on smile and you don't need to burst the ulti. You don't have that extra point because you're not getting it from the tank anymore.
