Turns out, it's some sort of cult-adjacient therapy thing? Half chanting propaganda, half playing video games with moral choices in them, being expected to give the appropriate answers. They weren't even good games - they had amazing VR setups with custom controls, but the games were flash-tier.So I ask my good sister, why the hell do you keep going and paying a thousand bucks per month for this? Well, because a lot of the cultists are former violent criminals and she's afraid they'll come for her if she stops going. And now that I've been, my parents think I have to keep going and paying too to keep the family safe. I was planning on how to bring weapons to the next meeting and busting that cult when I woke up.
