So what did you think of the Winter Trip DLC?
I thought the DLC was pretty good. It was longer and had more endings than I expected. Doctor getting a leading tole was nice, and Gyu-ri was pleasant like in the main game. Yu-jeong had the best stuff in the DLC. I tend to find bad endings an annoying chore because the main character always has to act like a complete retard to make the ending happen. There was on Yu-jeong bad ending that actually made me feel bad for doing it, which is a first for me. I'd probably give the DLC an 8/10, which is how I would rate the base game as well.

Man, I dreamed of a wild FMV today. There was this domineering girl who ends up forcing you to meet her at her house for reasons I forget, but arriving there her tough guy dad intercepts you unannounced and you have a little standoff. She then arrives to defuse the situation and you could either remain whipped or flip the tables on her and make her submissive. Then I found there was also some intricate branching where you could mess with her dad's truck in advance and that'd change the confrontation setup entirely. Curiosity got the best of me and I checked Fame Game 2 up to Chapter 3. It's rough, much rougher than the direct chinese translation stink on the trailer let on, with some very loose storytelling and structure too, also super linear with poor choices. 4 of the 5 girls have been introduced and only the LiAA veteran lead is relatively normal and had good scenes (incidentally, also the only romance to speak of up to this point), while the bimbo was dealing with a zero proofreading script where her lines become gibberish now and then and she mixes up pronouns. The character archetypes are much worse than implied on the trailers as well. I said I would play this game for Danielle and I will, but it's looking pretty damn bleak.

I don't have time to 100% the demo tonight, but I managed to do a full playthrough. So far it seems promising. Outside of the retarded way the MC is introduced to the cast, I liked just about everything. Wang Han is great, but her dubbing was a little bit off. I appreciate how they address her speaking Chinese, though all the other girls being unable to communicate with her might make some of the later group scenes weird. Winter seems better here than she was in the Too Hot to Be True demo, I still find her ugly though. The blonde girl seems fine so far, outside of being reasonably angry at the MC she didn't do much. And the last girl whose titties are always out in the promo material shocked me by being timid and meek in the actual game. She seems fine so far too.The plot actually has me more interested than anything right now. How does this guy keep breaking in and why does he want to rape Wang Han? Not that I blame him. I'm not expecting Storytaco to push themselves too hard in terms of gameplay, but I hope they expand on the QTEs a bit in this game. We've got an action thriller, so it would be nice to go a bit heavier on QTEs.Overall my interest in this game didn't change much. It still seems really promising, and I look forward to the full release.

Hmm, I don't know, this doesn't feel like they learned much. Very bizarrely mean-spirited opener, and I say this as someone who does not care for the involved parties, plus this protag is leaning on insufferable loser territory. Wang Han dwarves the others in sheer presence and acting to the point it's distracting, though I agree the ADR for Winter is significantly better than in THTBT. The girls seem to be mostly doing her own thing with very little direction, writing feels lightweight so far and every girl seems to be heavily telegraphing they know something, but we'll see if there's a payoff. Choices were presented in that dated mechanical format where girls line up for picking and stand around during and after, and at least so far the security job seemed mechanically passive. This might not be the Wang Han worthy WHYNOT redemption arc, or even the Storytaco mediocrity combo breaker I was hoping for, but I still find this cast aside from Winter very alluring, maybe just not retail price alluring as a game.Anyway, have a Junhee sneak peek. May she star in a good game someday, she deserves it.

I'm really behind with playing some of the games due to real life getting in the way. But I finally managed to find some time for the FHUOR2 DLC. It was actually much better than I had expected it to be. I think it being focused on 3 characters really helped and I never really felt that it was shorter than a full game.Gyu-ri was my favorite character from the full game and she holds up really well in the DLC. Her journey in the DLC doesn't reach the same high as in the full game as it lacks her hardships which made her really stand out, but she's still really cute and a ray of sunshine.Yu-jeong was really neglected in the full game and kind of felt like an afterthought there, but she really got to shine and make her mark in the DLC: Amazing character and I appreciate her a lot more now.The doctor, or Suzy, felt like the weakest character. She was great in chapter 1, kind of nonexistent in chapter 2, and then fell off in chapter 3. She's incredibly sexy nonetheless and I really enjoyed her portrayal in the first chapter. Just wish they could have kept it up for the later chapters. While it does suck that Yuna got shafted, I do understand why they went with Suzy over her. Still, Yuna should have at least been a part of the boarding house group.Onwards to Beauties and the Stranded for now.

Best girl is finally back in her rightful place at the top.Getting 100% in the game was actually really fast. There's barely any choice conflicts between the girls so doing multiple repeats was quick. Even managed to get enough affection to unlock all of their endings at the same time. No harem ending though, and the ending quality really highlights how this is inferior to FHUOR in every way.
