Why were Linuxfags able to create a better launcher than both GOG Galaxy and Epic? I've started buying more GOG games for the Deck precisely because this makes it so easy.
>>750738502GOG Galaxy works pretty well given what it is, shame it has no native linux support despite the store selling games that support it.Epic has no fucking excuse outside actively not wanting to improve it.
>>750738716Apparently GOG are working on a Linux version for Galaxy but I have no idea why it's taking so long. It's gotten to the point where Heroic has literally everything that you would want from Galaxy + more: GOG achievements, a big picture mode, even the GOG overlay is in beta. GOG Galaxy is okay on Windows but it's not particularly remarkable there either, you have PlayNite and such that do a lot more. But I think we can all agree that Galaxy is far better than Epic. Heroic makes playing EGS games tolerable too, but I'll never buy from there, I just claim the free games.
Windows users and even Mac users can also use Heroic, unfortunately.

>>750740372>Steam 1-click easyYep.Heroic has the GOG storefront built into it so it's just as convenient as the Steam client. You buy the game, install it, it automatically sets up the prefix and installs all the redistributables and Windows component files that Steam would've. GOG has more payment options too which can make it somewhat easier than Steam. You can just pay for games with Apple Pay on your phone if you want.
