Reminder that nothing has changed at Blizzard to warrant having any faith in them not ruining Forever. It'll start out okay because it's using vanilla as its baseline and it's hard to fuck that up, but every subsequent update will slowly make the game worse until it's just another retail. They're already fucking it up with changing the genders of characters, removing emotes, over-moderating the game, giving us blue retail elves, and generally not having a fucking clue when it comes to balance. devs have pretty much completely ignored rogue so far. they only do DPS in melee range, they give no buffs, they are lower than most other DPS, they press 2-3 buttons the entire time in pve, only 1 spec is viable in raids, they are mediocre in 1v1 pvp, they are the worst class in group pvp. and anytime anyone complains they are told "Rogues are fine" because everyone is super salty that rogues can hide in stealth and then gank them while they are eating food or in the middle of fighting something else (something druid can do better anyways).

Blizzard had a whole month to update rogue but havent done it. They promise they will be #1 dps on single target. They promise they will update rogues eventually. but so far more work has been done on say any individual warlock talent tree than the entirety of the rogue class other than some generalized nerfs to rogue scaling. Basically every other class got buffed by like 50% (other than warriors lol) and rogues got their main dps talents nerfed by 50%.

unless there is some huge rogue update before full release drops its looking like another situation of sod season 2 where the devs said "lets wait and see how this plays out" and it plays out to where its so bad for rogues they are blacklisted from raid invites because they dont do any damage or bring anything else to the raid.
