Certain weapon types are definitely hurting for some boosted variety into the late game and I feel the game doesn't really provide very exotic weapon options for the setting. At least until Phantom Liberty and even then some weapon types are severely hurting for them. LMGs and Precision rifles in particular, and while Shotgun are effective it's irritating they didn't get any sort of advanced prototype model to play with. Meanwhile Reflex and Cool both got 2.While the looting and crafting system is improved I feel mods are still sort of clunky, forcing you to force specific gun shops regularly in order to purchase mods to combine them together to create something of the appropriate tier for the quality of guns you're currently using and then once you go beyond that tier there is no way to recover your mods so you're forced to do so again but just more so.

Reflex and Cool isn't a very good combo for combat so far early game. There's so many ambushes and I have to run across the map and do janky gun fights if I can't sneak up on people or unload a clip 1v1. Maybe I'm just too used to tanking shit from my last playthrough.
