I think synergy is the best policy. I hate when you have to jump around to a bunch of different console generations just to get the full experience. That isn't even the worst barrier for getting into Persona though. There's at least some charm in going back to the PS1 and 2 days. But having multiple versions of the same game with slightly different content will always be retarded. This Reload/Revival approach kills both those birds with one stone. You can call it lazy but I call it effective and good for the overall health of the franchise.
