What do you do to have fun on No Man's Sky?I know it has a lot of content but I'm trying and I'm just bored... I boot the game every new update, hop on my ship, land on a new planet, mine some shit and just quit until the next update. The idea is cool but it takes so long to get to the cool stuff and I just hate mining, scanning and collecting shit. Whenever I land on a new empty planet see a lot of things to collect and some stupid creatures that don't make any sense that's it for me...
>>750717572play it in VR, menial tasks suddenly become fun
>>750717572when I hop on NMS I usually change my steam name to Ranjeed or something, go into the Anomaly and fill other peoples inventories with fecesI built a dedicated poop farm for this, both on a planet and on my freigther in case of poop emegency
>>750717572Hello games shifted the game to be a cozy survival game because the original loop could only go so far with repetitive procgen generation. Minecraft even without mods is a massive alterable canvas, and subnautica, grounded, and palworld (I am planning to play grounded and palworld this or next year) use a lot of handcrafted content and focused sandbox/action adventure mechanics. That's why a lot of NMS's mechanics and activities are shallow, it is a massive toybox for the userbase to chill in after a day's work. I mean it is fun, but more tailored sandboxes are likely your thing.
