The last game you played is now directed by Hideo Kojima. How does it change?
>>750714921>Heart of Iron 4 >Old World Blues mod.I'm worried.
>>750714921It has trannies in it
>>750714921what if the last game I played is MGS3?
>>750715412i kind of wonder how modern kojima would make that
>>750714921>Silent Hill 2>get reminded that Silent Hills will never be a thing
>>750715562better than how it is because nobody could make a worse job, at the plot and the gameplay
>>750714921Would Kojima like to hang out with a bunch of black celebrities from Hollywood?
>>750714921A random character is stricken with painful bouts of uncontrollable diarrhea. The quality of the audio samples used to represent these bouts in progress is top notch
>>750714921>rimworldThe world isn’t ready for that amount of autism
>>750715662just remember how amazing ground zeroes was, and how mgs V turned out . PT was the same thing. the real game would have never delivered on the promise of PT. kojima is an ideas guy who needs to be tard wrangled, he can only deliver small projects with any consistent quality.
>Twisted TowerIt becomes even more about movies I guess
>>750714921>Stalker 2The entire game is Spark route, except even more schizo.
Stasis:Now about sneaking. Has weaboo, animu shit. pretends japs are the good guys. John Marachaeck is now half japanese. It's overacted, stupid. There are boss fights with some gimmick to figure out. Cutscenes are everywhere. The name Hideo Kojima is introduced in tv styled titles upon entering every new area. Some tranny or nigger features as a support character. You are tortured, press x to not lose. Some aspect requires you to give up your hard line. Pretends to be deep and meaningful. Is downgraded. Is at a high resolution. John has a big ass. You can non lethal enemies. It's set in some obscure country. Countdown when seen by the enemy. Has some MG Rex looking enemy. Best girl dies.
>>750716027>remember how amazing ground zeroes wasMind elaborating? Is this a writing/cutscene thing or what? I mainly want to see the arguments put to text. I saw this point mentioned dozens of times but personally I don't see that much difference between GZ and TPP.GZ has more emotional investment, sure, because it's Paz and Chiko you're saving and then there's the attack on Mother Base, but as far as gameplay goes? Not really. The guards keep popping in and out of existence, often before your very eyes. And gameplay also comes down to tranqing everyone while you crawl or duckwalk forward. TPP at least sometimes has snipers or those riot suit guys to force you to use a different weapon to deal with them.
>SnowrunnerI get this trailer, but unironically.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ZnL6NV6rMM
>>750716027I think MGSV was really good actually
>>750714921>World of HorrorCould be kino
>>750714921>ffxivIt doesn't, although the cutscenes would probably have more voice acting.
>>750716713Camp Omega is much better designed. It's better than anything in TPP. Superb visuals, atmosphere, oppressive tone. It feels like an actual enemy stronghold. In TPP, even shit like OKB Zero, Oilfield or Airport are too open. It's an open space, and you can just crawl around. There are only a couple of cameras in OKB Zero and the Airport. In GZ, you can't just tranq everything: a) resources are limited and you can't just call a supply drop; b) you can't just fulton bodies out of the map, which means they are bound to be found. AI is much smarter in GZ. They spot you better, they are more aggressive. You have to actually think a little.>GZ has more emotional investment, sure, because it's Paz and Chiko you're savingAnd that's a huge element. Almost nothing in TPP is on the level of finding Paz, escaping with her on your back (you can't just fucking fulton her like you can nearly anything in TPP), there is nothing like the surgery scene and her sacrifice. This story was personal and hugely emotional. The only thing that is as good in TPP was, again, Paz. The best written, acted, scored and directed piece of the game that is also for some reason hidden and can be entirely skipped. What do we do in TPP? Extracting a bunch of generic nameless random NPCs for 30 missions straight. Oh my God, it's Malak! I'm so invested now! OMG, CFA official #30... Epic! Then there's the issue of tapes: tapes in GZ were harrowing, emotional, complemented the story and developed characters. You had to listen to the tape to find Paz, follow the audio cues - gameplay purpose. You had to actually FIND the tapes. TPP just dumps a bunch of dull exposition narrated by bored Troy Baker or Code Talker at the end of every mission. The only good tapes in TPP are Paz tapes. Because they involve actual character writing, themes, emotion, they are intimate and personal. Skull Face was terrifying and smart in GZ. In TPP, he's a joke. GZ is just better: story, presentation, music, gameplay.
>>750718081>In TPP, he's a joke.gotta love your grand faceoff with him being a long jeep ride and them him dying like a bitch
>>750718081>Camp Omega is much better designedRight away I can tell you that it's wrong. The thing you're thinking of is pure atmosphere, the permanent night+rain, possibly with the english voiceover being of higher quality than russians or guys in africa. GZ also has better soundtrack.Take a look at the base during one of the daytime side ops and you'll realize that it not only doesn't make any sense(from realistic point of view, but this applies to TPP bases too) but it's also kind of bad from raw gameplay perspective. Too open, you can just go in any direction you want and guards can't really do shit about it because the magazine disables them. A lot of things are scripted too. For example the truck only spawns after you get the tape out of Chiko. Or the third watchtower you come across will ALWAYS keep the searchlight near you, you can approach through the tents or the road and the guard will always point it in your direction and then sweep near you. Similar things happen with other ones too. Or take the very first watchtower, actually. There's literally nothing in that little corner of the map, hell, there probably shouldn't even be a fence door or the tower. It clearly exists solely for Snake to enter through. Actual prison area is also severely understaffed as it has like 3 guards in total, and it's maybe 50 meters away from a spot that looks like you could just crawl out of bounds. Also it made me laugh how they sent out a search party for Chiko but he's 100% safe and sound in that little ultra obvious cave by the LZ.
>>750718081>It's an open space, and you can just crawl around. But this applies to GZ especially. Crawling is busted and AI is straight up not allowed to react to you unless you're firing at them or they're less than 10 meters away from you. Even when they notice you they end up ignoring you half the time and they're also locked into the flashlight animation and allow you free shots. The only part where you're in danger is exiting the basement with Paz on your back because you can't crawl while holding someone.>There are only a couple of camerasDoesn't GZ have like 3 cameras? The one in front of the power generator and the one by the stairs are a problem but the third one basically can't spot you and you can sprint right under it IIRC.>In GZ, you can't just tranq everythingYou absolutely can. The map actually has a bunch of tranq ammo boxes placed all over for that very purpose and your suppressor is infinite. Seriously, I think they're in literally every tower and every single one of those tiny guard huts.>you can't just fulton bodies out of the map, which means they are bound to be found. You can't fulton them true, but the NPCs don't have the revenge system(the thing that counters your tactics? Like body armor and better guns, snipers etc) and for that very reason they will NEVER call it in if they find a dude passed out on the floor, they just wake him up and go about their day. They're locked to the basic reaction and that means that tranqing is even more free than it is in TPP.>AI is much smarter in GZ. They spot you better, they are more aggressive.No. AI is exactly the same. If anything they're more predictable because they always act on the most basic level and won't call in anything weird as readily as in TPP. Also, any caution state after being called in will last for only a short while.>cutscenes, story, charactersYep, what I expected. You're 100% right about that by the way.
