China and especially Korea are completely worthless creatively, that goes without saying. I'd argue even Japanese games aren't as good as people pretend they are and they rely on a history of technological innovation to pad their reputation when they've release nothing but handheld garbage for the last decade at least.The "west" isn't any better, the last good game to release over here was Skyrim.

I've just never seen any reason to even try a chinese or korean game. There's just something off about them, like a lack of soul or something I can't describe it. Yet you look at Japan and despite being right there, they make a huge variety of games of vastly different genres and play styles, settings, etc. Yet in China almost every single big game that comes out of there is something based on Wuxia or chinese mythology, nothing truly original or unique. Korea just feels like their games are AI generated. Completely soulless, lacking identity, made for coomers.
