They added Alliance Savage, 8 man, odd patch, post savage content, upgrades raid gear. Savage players aren't going to want to join low ilvl parties without a reason, because the player quality will just generally be a lot weaker. And non-savage players aren't able to join the high parties. There are still non-savage players who can make a PF for 851+ and maybe have some success fishing but a lot of people just don't like creating parties for whatever reason.Until now there has always been a blurred line because max ilvl can be hit without enough time and tomes, even without savage. This will no longer be possible though. But with the EC system unless something changes, the average casual's experience in PF is going to be miserable.
Why do we care about casuals? I thought people liked XIV because it was the hardcore mmo with good raids? Thats what everyone said back in 5.3, that they were escaping WoW to come raid in XIV because XIV was all about raiding. Everyone loves savage, everyone loves ultimate.
