What is the best DDR5 brandNeed to upgrade and can support up to 64 GB
>>750699589*64 GB (up to two 32 cards I mean)
Are you really planning to hoarding ram from our lord and saviour Sam Altman?
>>750699589G.Skill always wins
>>750699707Yes unless he wants my loaf of DDR4 for the winter
doesn't matter, all ram brands are made by the same 3 companies.Just get the cheapest for that spec range, thats what ive always done. they charge you more for RGB or the brand.
>>750699589There are three manufacturers of RAM chips, all brands add their plastic and heatsinks to these manufacturers' sticks: Micron, Hynix and Samsung. My RAM is Crucial but actually it's Micron. Doesn't matter the brand.
>>750699589Also check your mobo's manual because you don't want to buy 8000MHz but eventually see your mobo doesn't support more than 6000MHz for example. And then there's overclocking the RAM, that I don't do. Check you're mobo's manufacturer's site for the overclocking compatibilities but usually the compatible sticks have all been hoarded or cost 2 or 3 times more than a normal stick. The "CL" number means the latency, the lowest the better.
How much will ram be when the bubble bursts?
>>750700134>when the bubble bursts?
>>750700134'bout tree fiddy
I went with Corsair because I wanted to get the stupid LED colours on it
>>750699957Mine is saying 5600 MT/s in Task Manager and on Best Buy but manufacturer's website is saying 5200, but my model is some refresh and they don't have specs available for that on there. I'm going to assume it's safe to do DDR5-5600 and shop based on that, thanks.
