I'm honestly surprised that Gearbox managed to bounce back with Risk of Rain 2 after that awful DLC. Second DLC is still a stain on the game and its content is total fucking garbage even after all the fixes and reworks, but damn new expansion is good.
It's weird how polarizing this DLC has been lately. I think it's actually really good especially compared to AC which wasn't bad, just kind of bland and lacking in some areas. I even think Seekers was a good DLC that was marred by a terrible launch. My only issue with these DLCs is that they keep adding more items than necessary which just ends up polluting the item pool. Crit glasses might as well be a red item now thanks to how bloated the common item pool has become.
