They have a great idea at the beginning, and then proceed to either not release any content, or incrementally fuck the game up, or both. The big issues for HD2 are that the majority of the arsenal is extremely underpowered, enemy design is annoying as fuck (tons of ragdolls all over the place), they refuse to fix longstanding bugs and things that they've acknowledged as issues (mods fixed the majority of these btw lol), and most of their non-warbond content additions have made the game worse.

I've got 1600+ hours in the game, and while I still find it fun to boot up every now and again, the fact that Hulk corpses STILL, after nearly 2 years of complaints, create invisible walls that none of your projectiles can pass through, but every bots lasers can is infuriating. Dragonroaches hitboxes are still so wonky and shitty that downing one is a game of luck and not skill. Strategem bouncing is still present after nearly a year of AH fucking it all up for no reason at all, even after modders have fixed it multiple times only for a new patch to completely break the fix. Being called in for reinforcement is still a fucking cunt to deal with as you're not brought in ANYWHERE near the reinforcement beacon, and even if you are, maneuvering the hellpod is still fucked in 90% of cases.

Game is very fun but marred by a colossal amount of bugs and instability. If the game is running fine for you know that it isn't guaranteed to stay that way. Eventually Arrowhead will fuck something up and make their product nigh unplayable.It's a unique experience, and I valued it for being able to give me that, but at the end of the day it's a barely functional product.
