Is it even possible for Dead Space to continue after this ending?
humanity is doomed so I guess the sequel would be a sex with ellie simulator
How>muh planet crackerslmao
The ending isn't the issue.
>time skip to when all the aliens are dead for some reason>actually the aliens were trans>it was a metaphor for depression all along>parallel dimensionSo many ways to save the story. Get to it, writers.
>>750691345ending of DS3 Awakening happens.Issac wakes up. He was sleeping on the couch after an argument with Ellie. He tells her about what will happen. Everything DS3 was a dementia premonition.Ellie and Issac team up to destroy the necro moon and Unitology.DS4 starts here.
>>750691345They did plan for a DS4 where you'd play with Ellie in Earth after the Moons sbowed up and like 99% of the world turned into Necromorphs. The question is whether Isaac survives the ending or not, and I feel the answer is realistically no fucking way, but they would've bullshitted their way around it because he's that popular and the hero of the franchise.
No, because what the fuck are they gonna even do??
>>750691345I only played 1 and 2 because 3 was co op. What happens?
>>7506913452 has the perfect "rides off into the sunset" ending. If they're gonna continue Dead Space, do it with someone else.
>>750691345it's plenty possible to continue it with apocalyptic ending of awakeningwhere it is not possible to continue it is under electronic art's soulless profit focused game development
>>750691542>spbp
>>750691345We don't know how many humans live on other planets or on space stations. You could set a 4th game 10 years later, as the sorry remains of humanity tries to leave the galaxy. They can't undo what's been done to Earth, but I didn't get the impression that the moons had any interest in chasing down every last human in the galaxy. I think it would fit the tone of the series if all humans can hope for is escaping and trying to survive. There shouldn't be some virus or gadget that turns everything okay again, humanity is fucked at this point and there's no going back.
>>750691345Couldn't they just build another device that put them to sleep?
>>750691542> set up a 2 year colony on a brethren moon then position your ship above it for a month in order to extract 5% of the planet
>>750693114Isaac is chased by unitologist SUICIDE BOMBERS into ice planet with the last remnants of earthgov forces, all five of them. There they discover the remains of ancient aliens who built markers and then froze their ocean planet with a device. The Voices tell you to shut it down btw.Unitologists follow you and you get some chest high wall shooting.Towards the end of the game you shut down the device and surprise! It was halting the convergence event instead of powering up the markers like the folks thought it did.Isaac turns it back on before the moon sized necromorph is fully formed, it crashes on the planet and Isaac and Co-op buddy are thought dead by Ellie who is the sole survivor. Then comes the ending sold separately DLC, where Isaac and Co-op marine discover there are more necromorph moons and try to get back to Earth to warn them, then stop for a while because they fear they are leading them to earth, then realize the moons are just reading their minds and are already on their way to earth, so they resume their plan, while fighting against unitologist fanatics who are larping as necromorphs.Isaac and Co-op buddy get back to earth, see the necro moons hovering over earth, a wave of marker signal madness washes over them, they scream and screen goes black. The end.
