>>750682951One of my favorite things about DS2 is how you can turn the final boss into a gauntlet. When I first played it, I had no idea you didn’t need to do Throne Watcher & Defender right before Nashandra, so I just kept doing that on replays, then adding scholar into the mix it was a back-to back-to back gauntlet. I didn’t realize until years later that W&D could be fought way earlier. Another nice detail was Nashandra entering the boss fog if you did W&D right before her, so it was like you were the final boss for her. By themselves, the last two aren’t hard, but as a gauntlet it’s more challenging because both use attacks that just drain HP while you attack, so you need to reserve some healing from W&D.
