But it's also bad because that means the gameplay will be pretty dull until you get to at least level 60. The later content is just much better too. There is loads of side content, so if you don't want to rush though the MSQ you can always just chill and go fishing or something like that, do a treasure hunt with you guild or - god forbid - socialize with other players. There's some hard versions of boss fights and raids, which I personally ignored and I put some hundredths of hours into this game. I am running some raids from older expansions now, since I don't want to bother with DT, and It really think those are fun and definitely "cool".JP voice acting is as good as you'd expect. The english script takes some liberties, but is okay too.(English VAs got replaced in HW and seem to be well liked overall.)

The complete lack of new world content or adjustments to existing (and terrible world content like fates/hunts) has totally killed any small amount of hope I had left for this expansion. Might as well call this a co-op multiplayer boss rush game and not an mmorpg. I'm genuinely shocked at how mediocre and tepid that was and at how thoroughly Berlin and Tokyo Fanfests have completely erased the crazy hype I was feeling right after US Fanfest. It should need to be studied how a team can so totally botch the opportunity of having such an immense amount of attention and goodwill and just let it all drip away with vagueness, uncommunicativeness and being out of touch.
Speaking as a casual player that doesn’t even touch extremes after bad experiences, if the fierce raids aren’t easier than extreme trials then I will not be doing it.

Well, as expected this was a huge nothing burger again. Like someone down here already said, I don´t give a damn about anything if the meat of the game (combat) is still shit. The new job is the most random reddit "design a class" thing I´ve seen so far from the game. So many original FF jobs available and they insist on creating such underwhelming stuff because yadayada FFXIV original but at the same time, the Savage AND Alliance raids are suddenly okay with being maximum fan service again.What I am way more concerned with is how super accessible everything has to be. The only thing I liked is the Gauntlet of Power because since SHB, and even a bit in SB, I disliked how prior dungeon bosses would feel over like nothing when I know some of them used to at least require basic attention. As I'm leaving the game, I will tell the truth as I don't need to play the nice guy. FF XIV is not a game. It is a click + walk simulator. I can do most dungeons & raids without looking to screen in encounters. This game has been dumbed down too much for ultra-casual people with low intelligence and zero skill. Square Enix only cares about the money and designed the game for them. Even single player FF games are much harder. The game has no future at all unless they go back and make things hard again. All dungeons and raids should be hard. All instances should have ilvl and level scaling. Casual players should improve or go play another game for children of 3 years old. Or Square can just create a movie version of the game for them.
