>>
how do turd worders afford this?
>>
>>750677115
I looked it up, I thought it's much worse than a 6700XT but the core is actually only 30% smaller

If you use an AMD card then youre brown. No exceptions
>>
>>750677801
I actually have OP's, yours and a new 9060 XT 16GB. My god, that 550 runs like shit I actually feel angry just from thinking about it. I hope you get a better card somehow, anon.
>>
>>750681569
Based and correct. This is accurate and a trvthnvke
>>
>>750677342
Same, still haven't hit anything it can't run on high+ in like six years.

>>750681569
Yes I always pay more for the fashionable brand

Limited VR games. I just couldn't play Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild in VR. Not enough rendering power. Couldn't get at least forty frames, with good enough looking resolution.
Recently upgraded to a 9070 XT. Can play just fine.
Kept my 6600. Not selling for enough. I might as well keep.

Why do Americans like their pizza so fucking greasy?
>>
>>750687000
It's janky shit anyway you're not missing much
I haven't even cleared the tutorial shrines and have had to relaunch a bunch to solve black screens and ui bugs that just reoccur again
moving objects with magnesis is also very uninutitive and is like pulling teeth
>>
>>750677801
a 580 can't be that expensive...

I'd love to receive a GPU as a gift. I'm green with envy right now.

>>750677115
Is it worth upgrading to this from a 4gb RX 570? I have this 11 year old PC that I use as my daily driver that has an i7 4790k in it, and i want something that's easy to get that's not gonna be too much of a cpu bottleneck.
>>
>>750677115
Well soon she ain't gonna purr no more. Whenthat happens you are going to wish you were buying the replacement when you could.
>>
>>750692084
It's already too late now
>>
>>750677115
I got one of these because they were basically giving them away a few years back, and its held up better than I expected. It's not fancy but it gets the job done.

What if theyre enemies ? I dont speak to almost any of my cousins
>>
>>750677115
Im on 4k and my 9070xt is struggling at times
>>
>>750692070
If you can find a good deal on it. I find that a lot of 6600's are overpriced. Don't pay more than $150. RX 5700 XT is cheaper and more powerful but consumes a lot more power and many of those cards are pretty big. Your CPU shouldn't be that big of a bottleneck, but it's getting there.

>8 GB
2020 called. They want their VRAM capacity back
>>
>>750693125
There's nothing worth playing that requires more than 8gb of vram. There hasn't been a decent aaa game released beyond 2020.
>>
>>750677406
shame that is the housefire model

Ah the classic poorfag response of "anything I can't run isn't worth playing". You should learn to be a toasty rather than a poorfag.

>>
>>750696349
why wasnt there a reference model 9070xt
>>
>>750696456
Chances are AMD realised it was just gonna be a stop-gap generation so didn't bother with a MBA model.
>>
>>750696456
Why would you want reference AMD model?
They always suck compared to AIB cards.
>>
>>750677115
>Still on NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 (6 GB)
How fucked am i? I still play mostly old games and indies but more vram would be nicer.
>>
>>750680228
A CEO does not necessarily own a company. Lisa Su has like a ~.2% stake in AMD, while Jensen Huang (CEO and founder) owns probably up to 5% of Nvidia.
>>
>>750677801
I love Chinese GPUs. I own two RX 580s and a 2060 Super. These Chinese companies refurbish old but still functional GPU dies and retrofit them with new PCBs, heatsinks, and coolers. People may be skeptical of buying them, but Amazon sells them with an optional 2+year warranty (depending on the model), so you don't have much to lose in the end. It's honestly a great way to cut down on e-waste, by extending the lives of these cards that can still punch above their weight. I just saw a benchmark video yesterday showing the 550 running Phantom Blade Zero @ 720p40fps. Super impressive for 10 year old budget card.
>>
>>750696930
There is an entire cottage industry of shit like taking laptop gpus and soldering them onto pcbs so you can plug them into your desktop like any normal gpu does. Where these things get iffy is drivers and some use some spaghetti hacked drivers so lmao good luck with support.
>>
>>750697224
Those are clearly labeled, though. If you buy a RX 6600M, RTX 3060M, or RTX 4080M, you know that you're buying a mobile variant that's been grafted onto a custom PCB, and that it'll require vendor-specific frankendrivers.
>>
>>750696456
They did, but didn't release it
https://videocardz.com/newz/amd-unreleased-radeon-rx-9070-oem-reference-design-pictured
>>
>>750697762
To be fair every gpu generation has a reference design that they use for internal testing, it just comes down to if they think it is worth it to do a production run for consumers.

Jensen ded 4ever.
>>
>>750698110
Hawaii had some serious legs on it - especially the 8gb models. Reminds me that the msi 390x has a 400w bios out of the box because fuck your power bill is why.
>>
>>750698110
I can't imagine the resources it'll consume. My friend tried that Adrenalin FSR4 override with Gray Zone Warfare on his 7900XT, and his temps and power consumption shot up like crazy.
>>
>>750677115
Noo!! You have to pay $2000 for minimal hardware upgrade and an average 4% fps increase!

I managed to snatch a rx 7600 before prices went to hell. It is more than enough for everything I need.
