Not all playerbases are equal.
>>
>>750675159
yeah but who earns more money
>>
>>750675439
>either of these gamers
>earning money
>>
Remember when assfaggot players were counting repetitive mouseclicks as apm to make their dogshit game seem deeper than it really is?
>>
>>750675159
Get real.
>>
>>750675159
RTS and ARTS players are chads. No more brother wars. Except if you play league. If you play league you're a fent addicted goyim slave.
>>
>different games have different APM
woah..
>>
>>750675439
neither is on a team. But if they were the LoL one of coruse, he pulls more numbers, even on streams, there is more interest for it.

Altho the APM of the Starcraft fag is insanely high, its meaningless in a game like LoL. Some skills do translate over though. Important ones like: Looking at the mini map.

Is StarCraft really the most advanced/hardcore strategy game or is it the opposite? Why can't anything compete against it?
>>
>>750675824
Its about 1/3 strategy but yeah. This is just my take on it but juggling micro, macro and strategy all at the same time brings a certain elation that can't be easily replicated in other games, even other RTS games. What makes it difficult is also what makes it fun.
>>
>>750676351
Is the single player also challenging or is it just against human players? I was wondering if a single player game could replicate what you've described.
>>
>>750676541
It tries but a computer could never be as responsive as another player.
>>
>>750675439
>>750675521
OBVIOUSLY you don't mean these two individauls are the entire player base and OBVIOUSLY I don't mean that these are the two money earning representitives of the player bases and OBVIOUSLY you're a gay little pipsqueak that can't decipher what a question is actually asking
>>
>>750676541
The single player is actually REALLY easy, especially on the lower difficulties. Its not nearly as stressful or difficult as playing against other players. I recommend you play it because its genuinely an enjoyable game (if you don't care about the story).
>>
>>750676597
Makes sense. Maybe AI will learn the patterns of pros and allow you to play against those heavily trained bots in the future (or maybe it's already happening)
>>
>>750675824
Starcraft looks hardcore in comparison to League but it is still baby's first RTS. It's popular because it is relatively accessible.
>>
>>750676541
>>750676710
Starcraft 2 has some pretty hard AI, and the coop mode has some neat optional difficulty options.
>>
>>750676767
wc3 is babies first rts since it is much slower, has slower combat, has heroes that compensate for lack of apm, has creeping that also compensates for lack of apm, has upkeep and you guessed it also compensates for lack of apm. Has autocasting on a lot of abilities of units(besides heroes) again for lack of apm.
>>
>>750677070
The hero management more than makes up for it in difficulty. The amount of juice a pro can squeeze out of a single hero in your gold line is insane. All while managing an army and economy at the same time.
>>
>>750677260
i don't disagree i just think the barrier to entry is much lower than most other rts' The heroes themselves also make it easier to get into the game. Obviously the skill ceiling is still very high.
>>
>>750677835
I agree. The game is too focused on the heroes. It's no wonder DOTA came from it.
>>
>>750676767
I have never met a dedicated Starcraft player who wasn't at least a very intelligent guy. Like genuine 130 IQ or even more
The biggest retards I have met are League or Smash players
>>
>>750675439
>but money
The source of all problems in modern society.
>>
>>750675159
But the guy on the right is just clicking random buttons for the sake of it to artificially improve his APM, while the guy on the right has to actually use strategy and use his brain when playing the game.
>>
theres two things going on here. one the rts gamer will click things and press buttons to pad the apm. and two, for the first few minutes theyre literally doing the equivelent of chess book openers. moba requires WAY more skill
>>
>>750675159
Wow he has pretty good finger dexterity. I'm sure his gf is a very happy lady. :^)
>>
>>750675439
The one who doesn't play at all because they work.
