What's this thing, and does it have anything to do with retro gaming in a way?

I would rather make fun of you for stealing a burger king tray. You filthy n-word

Looks like a video capture card, but probably useless without the rest of the hardware and it's software AND it probably required Windows XP.
Also, take a look at this fun thing:

Other way around Anon. ATI had "all-in-wonder" cards that had video inputs so that people could connect things like old camcorders or VCRs to their computer through RCA to transfer videos to.

T. was in my research way back when I was looking into hooking up a PS2 to my PC to capture video. Went with a different card for it anyway.

Those trays are useful for small repairs

Well, I would be mad for you calling me a nigger (in the coward way by the way. Either have the conviction or don't do it) but taking trays from fast good places is the one wrong thing that I do that my wife nags me about. So you two are in agreement. Except that she doesn't call me a nigger. Not about the trays.
In my defense... They're very useful. Especially for painting figurines and whatnot.

Thanks for the answers, now I know what it's for and I think I even have an old laptop that may be compatible with it. If it is, I may wanna see what happens if I use it for MAME on my CRT. It may be cool.

I was gonna throw it out.

I would for a laugh but I'm tired and there's little chance that I'll be hard and magnificent for today, and a floppy pic (or flopic) would be humilliating for us both. Has been a busy week, I really am tired.

I can see that! >>750672525
And as >>750672457 said yes they're useful for repairs. KFC is good I don't care if it's associated with low life.
