I played this shit in high school and hit a guy in the nuts once because he interrupted me playing Jumpin Jack Flash on Hard Rock

been forever since i played that but i played it long enough to unlock Commander Kahn as a dancer.

i also bought the OSU games as well, shame they stopped making those games and apprently made "Lips"? or something?

I have a physical copy, but emulated it on my Samsung phone (which comes with a stylus) just to see what it would be like.
With battery saver off and some phone settings tweaked to minimize touch screen input delay it ran (what felt like) perfectly. Although if I tabbed out and back into the emulator, or played for a prolonged period of time, I'd feel like something was off but then would restart the emulator and it worked fine again.

Anyway, all that is to say, Elite Beat Agents is one of the most joyful, perfect video games ever made. It's oozing with artistry and soul, and a life of the human spirit. Top 5 Nintendo games ever, definitely top 20 all time and I don't say that lightly

On my recent replay I realized, and I can't believe I never noticed this earlier, but the rich girls from Material Girl were never really in trouble.

They're so used to things going their way that even when they're stranded on an island they call it something they've always wanted to do. They're smiling when they hell HEEEEELP, even Kahn has an eyebrow raised when he yells Go (only time he does this in the whole game); as if to say "do they even need my help?" In all their failure screens (outside of the game over) they still look like they're having a pretty good time.
It's a really funny detail, and they're right to act that way, when you're hot things always seem to work themselves out.
>>
They're also the only characters who don't look like they're on the brink of absolute despair before the music kicks in. Instead it's like "LOL oh well it'll be a funny story once we're out of here :)"
I love these stacies so much

I’ve been playing the Diva campaign and honestly, so far it’s surprisingly easy.
Jumping Jack black on sweatin is one of the most ruthless songs in the game, it’s like the whole game is easy and then that song deliberately fucks with you several times throughout

I honestly think the game is harder on easier difficulties. The songs feel much better mapped the harder you go
