According to them:
-Enhanced visuals
-Better performance
-Widescreen support with background art
-A New Secret Boss
-Tons of other minor additions and enhancements and bug fixes
From the trailer footage, I didn't really see an upgrade in looks. Also, I don't get how they're gonna make an RPGmaker game run better. But the new secret boss is something I am looking forward to fight.

I appreciate the wide-screen support, it's pretty awkward resizing it, and I also don't know what "better performance" means, it's not like it runs poorly or even bad

At most, the game ran at 30 fps because it was made with a decade-old version of RPGmaker, and now it's at 60. But that doesn't matter because this is a turn-based RPG.
