Do you guys prefer to emulate everything on one device or would you rather have a dedicated device for each platform?
>>750654793I generally only make use of one device for emulation at a time. Right now I use the RP Nova, which is good all the way up through the original XBOX.
depends on the game. phoenix wright works really well on android since it's all touch basedfor something more action i would rather have the physical buttons of a real dsyou can easily emulate all nes games, but duck hunt honestly plays best on a crt with a zapper gunfor ps1 games i would rather emulate to use save states and fast forwardwii sport does not "feel" right if you just assign actions to keys on a keyboardi heard lost odyssey still got issues on xeniarpcs3 has annoying compile times, and some games need sixaxis controls, but for long ass jrpgs i would still rather emulate them on my steam deck rather than deal with my old slim ps3 retardationswitch games can be emulated flawlessly, but i would still rather play legends of arceus on reak hardware to transfer more easily to home in case i want toif you go deep enough then emulation and real hardware are both needed.
>>750654793For everything past Ps2 I like to be on the couch with a controller, for everything previous I like the handheld. I find that HD is the cutoff for me wanting to play on a tiny screen. PS2 games were mostly designed to be played on a 720p so I've found that they don't look great on a tiny screen, whereas PS1 and everything before still looks good.
