how do raids like onyxia compare to shit like TOP, DSR or other ultimates in FFXIV?

why? your contributon hardly matters if you're dps (at most 7% total), you're not getting in if you're tank because it's 1 or 2 tanks per raid, there's almost no mechanics because trying to wrangle 39 retards is almost impossible and loot is a nightmare (it either doesn't drop enough to justify being there or drops a bunch that you won't see because the inner circle claimed it all)
20 man is the sweet spot

The only 40 man raid I did was Ahn'Qiraj where a guild on my server wanted me to participate because I was kind of well known
