Which class is best? I'm thinking about a sorceress. The spells are good, I mean, they're really well-developed?

Spellcasting is very effective, especially since many enemies can't handle ranged combat. But it's also somewhat boring. If you find it exciting, then go for it. Same for Pyromancer. Very strong starting character. Blasting bosses away with spells can result in not "properly" learning their patterns, though. Depends on how important that is to you.Avoid the key for a first playthrough.Personal favorite is bandit, really good starting shield and the axe is great.Cleric is also a good choice for a first playthrough, the extra healing really helps.
>>750646660Deprived in every game, its more fun, a rag to riches story.do whatever you want just experiment with weapons, early game STR is useful because you have to carry weapons right. So yeah. Then you will figure it out.The strongest physical class is Bandit btw but its kinda boring. You just hit hard and thats too easy for the early game
>>750646660Knight + invest heavy in strength for peak Dark Souls experience. Magic / pyromancey trivializes the PVE
Sorcerer is the strongest class

>>750646660Haven't been playing much of DS1 because I mainly coop with my brother and he gets filtered by the stiffness of the gameplay compared to Elden Ring. But anyway...I really like INT in this game compared to Pyro, because pyro in DS1 was still very much a side-build in this entry as opposed to Pyro in DS3 for instance. I like INT because it's efficient but you can still melee most of the time, and you will have to melee until you get better spells.I'm planning picrel. I suggest you try it. For now, early game, it's very good. Just level up VIT and level STR and DEX enough that you can wield crit+ weapons like the Rapier or Balder's Left Hand. Balder's Left Hand is a super strong weapon early game.Learn to parry and you can use your sorcery as a last resort. For now, then later in the game you'll find your sweet spot and how you like to play.
For a first time playing as a knight or warrior is ideal since the best spells are hidden behind easily missable sidequest Just remember to upgrade your weapons along the way Your stats dont really matter that much compared to your gears stats a fully upgraded weapon does more damage on a character with zero level ups than an unupgraded weapon on a character thats max level
