But in the end, none of that really translated into the game itself. Survivor Lara was never a girlboss. That was OG Lara. In fact, one of the biggest Anonymous criticisms of the Survivor trilogy is that Lara was "whiny" and a "crybaby". On top of that, there was no gendershit or BLT MST3K nonsense in the games, either. They tried to make her gay so many times and it eventually stuck thanks to Shitflix's cartoon adaptation. But that incarnation was so far removed from her personality in the Survivor games that it's basically its own continuity.
