I think I'd wait until at least 5 to let children have technology at all, maybe even later as I only got my own personal tablet at 8 and only really desired it and knew how to use it then, 5 was also the age I started playing videogames rather than watching my mother play them. I don't personally think I'd wait that long for the phone as it is really useful and a computer might come earlier or later depending on maturity and need. But I wouldn't be one of those people giving a 1st grader a phone and also would make sure my children have fag sense and know what to avoid so they'll stay safe. My mother told me when I was really young not to ever talk to anyone online and I held true to that rule my entire youth, even in situations where it would be utilitarian like asking in a chat how to do something. Some children can be surprisingly good at following orders and for everything else you can show them why evil is evil and they'll have it instilled in them to avoid it. But of course you can't really do this when they are really young as they don't hold strong ideologies yet, so I find it insane when you have early Elementary age children or younger all hopped up on devices, this is the main cause of so many modern cultists.
