Games released that require 14.20 can't be accessed currently. Phantom Blade Zero, for example, is already beyond the grasp of pirates because it requires a firmware that does not allow for game dumps. It's unclear when physical games will start launching with this newer requirement as well.So I guess my point is you're kind of locked in to what's currently available. Which is unfortunate and worth considering, though this will matter more to some than others.
Miss out on new PS5 games. And your account and console will be terminated/bricked. Old PS games were shit too.

PS2 games are like what SNES roms were 20 years ago, why the fuck would you risk your 800 usd console to play them? You can literally do that everywhere, the PS5 is not special, it's just running a port of PCSX2, hell you can even do that in other consoles.
