The Remake got the entire art style, the entire era the game was set in, fundamental color theory tied to the lore of the setting, etc. entirely wrong. Spells sounded like sci-fi lasers and winding up gears. Entire story beats were missed by making certain things filthy, fleshy, abused, etc.
