There should be an XCOM style ODST game, with Covenant as ayyys (faction depending on timeline, naturally), insurgents playing the role of EXALT, Flood showing up very rarely, maybe filling the terror mission role.Maybe your ODSTs can be upgraded to budget Spartans when they reach max rank.Easy.And yes: dump practically everything 343 ever wrote (I say "practically", because I realise Buck becoming a budget Spartan was 343 slop, but it works as a gameplay mechanic in this situation).
